This brush and comb set is really quite nice. I do like that the brush is a very nice size as most are rather small. However, it is extremely difficult to press the button to extract and detract the bristles. Not only is the button very hard to push, if you have any nails at all this makes it nearly impossible because of the way the button is surrounded by hard plastic. You literally have to be able to push your finger straight into the hole, which is not possible for women with any nail length. I wish I'd known this before I bought this set. I'm still looking for a way to do this with a tool of some kind. I do love this brush but I need to be able to make it work for me. This is why only 3 stars.

Works as advertised

I was excited to receive this product. When we got it, the box was sealed, but the product inside was open. The large, self cleaning brush was there, but the small flea comb was missing. I'm very disappointed with this purchase.

With the brush you have a button to push to remove the animal's hair. You never have to touch the old hair again. Just push the button and it drops the hair into the waste basket. I really love this brush. The comb, is just a comb nothing fancy. Thanks.

this is seriously such a clever idea! love that I can brush my cat's hair and then nicely throw away the hair strands. there is no mess whatsoever! would buy again, but not anytime soon because the product is made to last!!
