These are great quality and the retractable wire works smoothly, looks expensive but got two for a really decent price!

I've only just started using them so I can't in good faith give them 5 stars yet. So far, they seem sturdy but the real test will be after a while of daily use and them swinging, multiple retraction, and daily wear and tear. I will update my rating at a later point.

I love these things! They have a snapped a couple time but work way better than the cheaper hook ones! The clasp work so much better!

Bought these back in 2020 because I thought they would make me look cool. I don’t know if they did or not but I felt cool for sure. And after 3 years of excessive use the first one snapped and I had 5 more to work with.

I really like this retractable badge reel. The last one that my employer gave to me over five years ago finally died, so I had to get a new one. I have a very thick waistbelt, and at first, I was worried that this item would not be secure on my waist. Admittedly, my belt is thick, but I did not think the reel would be safe on my belt; that's when I realized that this reel also has a carabiner attachment, and I was able to attach it to my belt loop securely. Win! Also, on the other end, there are two connections; one is another carabiner-style connector suitable for keys. The other connector is a button-style connector suitable for badges. I like that it has 2 methods of connection on both ends!

Much more sturdy than what they give you on the job. this thing is mostly metal and very well built!

Lightweight clip. The clip worked well for holding my badge, but the button didn't fit my badge. Eventually I attached a safety box cutter to the clip. The cord isn't super long, so using it to hold a box cutter isn't a great idea unless you want to have to take it off and put it back on repeatedly, but it is easy to remove. I never took the box cutter off but it somehow ended up breaking the clip, so it's not super sturdy for something like that, but as a simple badge clip it does the job.
