This onion holder is interesting. It is functional, makes slicing a rounded object through the tines easy enough and cuts slices into similar sizes, is rather flat so does not take up a lot of room to store, and is nicely designed. I like the idea of it, but will it become a tool I remember to use as a must have gadget to improve my life? Possibly not. The very sharp needle pointed tines could be problematic if children, elderly, or careless people were using it. Highly recommend keeping the plastic cover to place back on those sharp tines, and be careful when doing so. Not super easy to line it all up without stabbing fingers.

Nicely designed gadget. It works well to cut even slices without cutting hands. Delivery was fast.

This is a great tool. It works well for holding on to any food you’re slicing. I use it to slice cooked meat, and to cut uncooked meat into smaller portions before freezing or cooking. I am looking forward to using it on ripe tomatoes next summer! The handle on top makes it comfortable to use as well.

unless you have a really sharp knife, the slicer is really hard to use.

Love anything that makes life easier. Preparing food is not my favorite thing to do. This little gadget make cutting hard veggies like carrots, potatoes and even onions easier on the hands - with less effort.
