Authentic French Puy Lentils. Microwaveable. Ready to eat. These lentils are the genuine article from the Le Puy en Velay region of France and are without doubt the tastiest lentil the brand knows. The volcanic soil and unique climate of Le Puy en Velay give these dark green lentils their unique peppery flavour and now that they are so quick and easy to use, you can enjoy them more often. They are also high in fibre. Prepare and use: Put into the microwave (Cat E - 800W): Microwave ovens vary, the following is a guide only. To open pack cut one side at arrow. Place pack upright in the microwave oven and cook on full power for 2 minutes. Remove from oven by holding unopened side of pack. Fully open pack, taking care to avoid steam and stand for 1 minute. Use a fork to separate lentils and then serve. To Pan Fry: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a non stick pan, add contents of pack and stir-fry over medium heat for 2 mins, until heated through. To Eat Cold: Serve straight from the pack.
