Works great with Firesticks
It's like this soundbar knew my Firestick before they met! Very easy hookup. Will pair with any Firestick in the house, so it's portable. I can just move it from room to room if I want to add sound. It sounds good for what it is. Great value

Will Work with FireTV Remote
Bought this Soundbar for my son's Bedroom FireTV (Insignia 43" F30 series 4K)... his TV is on a VESA stand, so I needed to elevate the soundbar a bit and used Silicone Hemisphere Bumpers underneath the soundbar to elevate it over the VESA base. For setup, it has options for HDMI/ARC and Digital Optical... I wasn't sure which I would use in the end, I started with HDMI/ARC and that worked just fine so I didn't try the Digital Optical (though I'm sure that would work too). There seems to be a lot of confusion on if the Soundbar will work with the TV remote... most people in the reviews say it does not, and maybe that's true for some/alot of setups, but I was able to get the soundbar to work with my FireTV remote, so well in-fact, I never even used the remote that came with the soundbar once.On a FireTV, under "Displays & Sounds" turn off the TV speakers and set sound output to "HDMI/ARC" and audio format to "PCM". Then, under Equipment control, add your soundbar here, and for the manufacturer you won't find Saiyin, but you WILL find "Meidong". Set your soundbar to Meidong and the HDMI/ARC sound and remote will all operate fine with the soundbar.Once again, all functions of the soundbar, turning on, turning off (in-sync with the FireTV) and volume up/down functions work fine with the FireTV remote. The sound was way better with the soundbar, and bass much... well "bassier" by just adding this Saiyin soundbar. My teenage boy, who is hard to crack a smile actually cracked one after I played his music on the soundbar from YouTube... he was very happy with the end product, and can control everything with just his FireTV remote.Post EditAfter using the soundbar with above HDMI/ARC setup, I had strange, unexplainable "sound off" issues, that just randomly happened several times in a day where sound just stopped working and the only fix was to turn the TV on and off again. Couldn't figure out why, but since HDMI/ARC uses the ever-so-wonky CEC standard, I blamed CEC and just switched the connection to Digital Optical to remove CEC as a possible culprit... and it worked! No more strange sound stopping, FireTV remote does operate the soundbar using Digital Optical... the only difference I could tell between using HDMI/ARC and Digital Optical is the sound volume number doesn't appear on the TV using Digital Optical, where it does show using HDMI/ARC.I'd still recommend trying HDMI/ARC first, I may have just had an oddity happen on my end... i could have tried a different cable or fudged with the options to get it right, but I just shrugged and changed to Digital Optical almost out of curiosity and that worked just fine. I still give 5 out of 5, great soundbar for the price and does work with our FireTV remote... still never once touched the included soundbar remote for either HDMI or Optical setups!

GOOD & BAD FEATURES
This SaiYin Soundbar unit has OK sound. Pairing with DIsh Network, other networks is unavailable to program the Dish remote. There is no code provided for pairing purposes or states not programmable without code. There were zero instructions or manual included in box. There is a long delay to obtain sound when TV and SaiYin remote is turned on. This unit at least provides sound and meets minimum requirements.

Unreliable, be ready to test the unit
I’ve spent some time with the support docs and exchanging cables and tweaking the setup, etc, but it’s clearly half-broken. If you buy this yourself, be sure to be ready to set it up and test it immediately so you don’t miss the return window waiting on replacements.Apparently it’s very common to have buzzing in the sound when using an optical cable depending on TV settings, but after replacement cables and getting a new TV remote to ensure I could use the force PCM audio setting, no dice. I don’t have a TV with ARC which seems like a selling point for the sound bar, but any aux/3.5mm audio is worse, giving nothing but static. Unfortunately, the sound bar remote is also fairly flakey and there are a set of highly exposed bright LEDs that make the unit fairly undesirable for a bedroom setup.Setup is extremely quick and for the price it was far better sound than the built in TV speakers, but it has too many other problems, and the buzzing isn’t something I’m able to ignore. I’d also recommend an alternate mount, the included anchors won’t reliably hold this in typical sheetrock unless you can get one side into a stud.

Shockingly competent speakers with minor flaws
For $40 I wasn't expecting such competent speakers, I use this via HDMI Arc with my TV and it works great - I can use volume controls through my TV remote and it was has great sound quality. To clarify on the sound quality, it has good lows and okay highs - with midrange being somewhat lackluster but still very acceptable. I have quite a few speakers around this range and I'm pleased to say I genuinely don't have another pair of speakers to compare this to - it hits well above its price range. There are some nitpicks I have though, firstly the remote is horrible - it works, but must be pointed directly at the speakers, and for all other controls other than volume there are no indication on the speaker to confirm anything worked. Thankfully using ARC makes this a nonissue - as I can control the volume through my TV remote and it turns off with my TV. However, if you aren't using this speaker with HDMI ARC - the remote is frustrating enough that I genuinely would recommend looking elsewhere, especially at such a low price range.Secondly, the included wall mounts are complete junk, it has a piece that goes into the drywall and a screw to mount the soundbar onto - however the piece that goes into the drywall doesn't expand, so the drywall mount will literally just fall out of the wall. I got some drywall EZmounts and it fixed that issue.Overall, I'm shocked to say that I recommend this speaker - I was very hesitant to buy a cheap noname soundbar but was pretty amazed at the quality at such a low price.
