However, I hope this is true because I had batteries of this standard that I bought about 12 years ago and only now have used them. They worked flawlessly. The batteries from this manufacturer are packaged in shrink wrap that protects the battery contacts from coming into contact with any metal objects that could cause the battery to discharge. After removing the shrink wrap, the first thing I did was check the battery's charge, and as you can see in the photo, it meets all the standards and even exceeds them. After installing the battery in the keypad lock, it continued to work perfectly, and I did not notice any problems. There are many batteries of this standard on the market, but pay attention to the type of these batteries. Lithium and lithium-ion batteries can withstand low and high-temperature variations and work well outdoors, whereas alkaline batteries are best for electronics that require low or medium power. These batteries are slightly more expensive than alkaline ones, but the difference in their performance is significant. Therefore, I chose this battery for the door lock in our building, as the outdoor part of the lock is exposed to the weather, and during winter, with significant cold, a regular alkaline battery can lose its charge, and you won't be able to get into the building. Based on all of the above, I would give this battery five stars.

Lithium batteries help in that regard with long life. This also has long shelf life if you want to save some in case of emergency. They are more expensive than alkaline but in certain applications, it is not worth it to take the chance of a failure at the wrong time.

When first opened, these measure 9.56V, and the weight is 39.1 grams. Weight is probably your best indicator of longevity. The lighter they are, the lower the capacity tends to be. This is due to cost-cutting measures, like skimping on the amount of electrolyte (the chemical stuff that the energy comes from). When looking up technical data sheets, for other 9V lithium batteries, Energizer Ultimate Lithium 9V is 33.9g, and Rayovac Lithium 9v weighs 37.5g. This battery should last longer than the Energizer (which claims 1000mAh capacity at 33.9g), and about as long as the Rayovac (which claims 1200mAh at 37.5g). The data I'm referencing is for their lithium batteries. You wouldn't want to compare against weight for Alkaline, which will be much heavier, and not last anywhere near as long. The weight rule only applies when comparing the same chemistry, alkaline to alkaline, or lithium to lithium. Enjoy.

These batteries are a great solution for devices that require reliable, long-lasting power. I've used them to replace the batteries in my smoke detectors. Lithium batteries can withstand extreme temperatures and have an incredibly long shelf life and while they are a bit pricier than standard alkaline 9Vs, the enhanced performance and durability make it well worth the investment. They are clearly labeled with expiration dates, so I can keep track of when I need to swap them out.

Took about an hour to charge. I used this in my dead bolt lock for the garage that locks automatically. It’s been a few weeks and have not fixed that the battery is getting week. Came in a 2 pack so I can swap them out as the other 1 charges. Fits as a normal 9v battery should and will last a while.

Received the product and easy to install, that is perfect for my smoke detector, no battery to change until almost 10 years
