Very disappointed Imagine receiving this product just in time for a trip only to find out the memory card is not included. It's a $5.00 item for heaven's sake. By the time I get the card , trip over.

Cheap piece of junk!
The camera would not turn on. The buttons were extremely flimsy and didn't move evenly. This camera is a cheap piece of junk. I had to return it because it wouldn't work. I got stuck for $9.00 to ship it back to seller. Do yourself a favor and don't bother buying this junk!

No device control. I would not pay $50 for this device
The media could not be loaded. I bought this from a store thinking this would be a decent camera for out and about. Turns out how wrong and why this thing is not even worth $50. So far I have sat here for 3+ hours messing with this thing. So starting off, pulled this thing from the package and read the manual. Very lacking of controls. Power button, record, button, slide zoom, and the headlight. Plugged this unit with wall charger. Turns red, manual says solid green charging and off full. Pressed power button bunch of times, sat on for 30 mins. Pulled this from the wall and finally seems the power button shuts it off. Back into wall turns red again.Next I switch it over to the computer. Opens up a folder to view files, light shows red. No ability to control settings to a computer. I loaded a 2gb sd card and attempted to format it from the pc. I figure it has to be charged by now to test out what it can do and what range it has. Long press the power button to turn the unit on. It turns red go figure only color I have seen so far. Press record button (its supposed to flash red, I still have solid red). Nothing shuts itself off before 30 seconds. So far nothing has worked like the manual. Next step zoom and flash light. Light works zoom idk the slide moves. Next step is connecting it to the TV. This works and finally gives me a view that the camera is coming on and working, tested zoom, but still in a small area to really check how far it goes out.Step 6 date and time settings. So to set the date and time is just like turning on the device, long press power button, press rec to change. THE WORST IDEA IN THE WORLD. LET ME SAY THIS AGAIN WORST IDEA IN THE WORLD. So my year is 2017 from the start, I need to press this button 9997 times to get the year correct. No way to go up and down, you can just power it off not to save any changes though. After trying to test it again, and the date was changed when we went back, go figure turning on the device and recording is the exact same as changing the date and time. Since it's not recording it's just changing my year or month or day. Supposed to be green for stand-by mode seems incorrect, this point I still don't think a green light exists. There is no information of this next part in the manual when you can use the TV to see the device menu on some way. So power again takes you to the playback menu? I am guessing this is what it is as it's a blue screen with no file showing. Press power and hold and it loads a menu, sweet options but nothing to control. No way to select delete, tried long presses short presses, and get another menu that says 1/3 pages, but I can never get to see page 2 or 3. It even shows up and down arrows at the bottom of the screen, but 1 button closes the menu and the other changes the unit to video mode. The menu options here look promising, looks like a format, settings. So turns out holding rec for like a min formats the card. Sweet making progress I thought. I then lost access to these settings with a 30 sec clip playing with record. Grant it I am now near 2 hours of trying to press combinations to see if it will do anything else. So format the card again.Long hold power for the card settings, long hold again for advance settings. AGAIN MAYBE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD IDEA TO LOAD AN UP/DOWN BACK/FORWARD BUTTON. bad enough to record is now the same as setting the date and time and now also how to play back a video, and again to access these menu settings. Maybe a screen would be good to know which feature it's on at any given moment. So far all still solid red light control indicator. Rec does nothing, power takes you back to video rec mode, and long power back to video play back. Page 2 and 3 inaccessible, let alone accessing the settings on page 1. Reset button does not default the time, just seems to power the unit off if locked. At this point its over to me the device is crap. 2 press and 2 long press combinations don't exist, but now at least a working formatted sd and can record a video, in the year 2022 I am at now.Ok better to full review I guess since the store is closed sundays. Made a small video for step 7 direct computer connections. Hope better results now that the device did the format and video plays on TV. So plug to pc and first green light I have seen. Guess unit comes fully charged, but if I found stand by mode it's not green as the manual said. Turn on device, folder pops up and plays videos should have recorded 2 I guess. That's it end. Here are the real device specs, don't let high definition and 1080p on the outside package full you.5mp camera. Might be better to use your phone and hook it to your pocket with better camera quality. Resolution 1920*1080. Decent, but I am sure my phone has double if not triple the picture quality with detailed zoom in playback mode. And lots more features.Focus range 1 meter. That is about the distance I was sitting from my mice in the video. You hear the slide of the zoom in video, x4,x8File format .movMax 32gb sd (I have 64gb micro sd myself, 2gb test card = 20 mins record time). 32 does max out the battery time of 3 hours from outside of package statement not going to sit around and test that, or standby time.Last is troubleshooting.Solid green light, camera will not record. (didn't get a green light except when it was down battery life from hooking to the TV.)Video not displayed, but sound is.Power turns off automatically (when hooked to TV at least it said goodbye; when plugged to computer power always on).Recorded video not saved.Far away images out of focus. (returning not even going to test real range on video and quality of distance pictures)Memory card functions are not operable - videos not in AVI format are stored in the card. (it saves the videos as .mov reminder, typo maybe)Blurry imageNone of the buttons work - short circuit - reset buttonThat's it, manual done. Oh wait ( watch instructional video lidcam.com). Do you really want me to rip this site apart too. hook it to my hat, hold power button, press record and go.....what year does your camera say, wait the spin around view is not the lidcam, nice. guess no one else caught this, guess using a .mov file wasn't going to work for your site or to sell a product claiming hd, 1080p. if I am going to pay 159 heck 300 full price on the site I would buy a 32+ mp camera. I can make a harness to hold my phone for less than 20 bucks which has more features. So here is why this is nothing more than a $20 as seen on TV item. I am sure if I waste my time into watching these endorsed by the outdooroption TV show, you will never see these worn. I think the only picture they own with the lidcam is the promotional one on the package and the 10 sec instructional video. I added some images of the menus and the video that was recorded from the lidcam
