Hands down! The best! I use for myself and my daughter, we have completely different curl patterns and it works amazing for both of our hairs. Works best with wet hair in my opinion. I store mine in the fridge, and a little truly goes a long way. On its own it’s has a strong hold, if I want a lighter hold, I just squeeze a small shot in my hair and blend with a tiny hit of water and it works great. I’ve used rizo curl light gel, matrix a curl can dream, and drugstore eco gel and they don’t even compare to this. Only gel I’m getting from now on.

Finally found a product that keeps my hairstyle through the week! Not only does it keep my hair in place, but it keeps it soft, controls any frizz and keeps my style looking good! A little goes a long way. This is now my go to product as it keeps my curls very defined and I get a lot of compliments.

Saw the reviews and decided to try it as ECO Styler is no longer an option for me. I have very coily type 4C hair and no gel has ever made my coils pop like this product does. My curls are defined, the definition last for days, looks juicy/well hydrated, no frizz, and NO Flaking. It’s smells good and clean. Not too overbearing with a heavy perfume scent which I prefer. This is my second time using this product and I am very happy with the results. It’s the perfect gel for my Wash ‘n’ Go’s. It is a bit pricey in my opinion but a little goes a long way and I was able to layer with other products. Just make sure you test the products together before applying to your hair to ensure the products are compatible with the Jello Shot. Based on the pics I attached I used Hawaiian Silk Miracle Worker 14-in-1, the Jello Shot, and TGIN Honey Whip Hydrating Mousse and it worked beautifully together 👌🏾. Sat under a dryer for 30mins and voila the perfect Wash ‘n’ Go that lasts a whole week with no need refresh in between. I would definitely recommend.

I got Jello Shot and Orange Marmalade to try. I’m more a fan of liquid or custard like gels and this was by far the thickest heaviest feeling gel I’ve tried. I used a smaller amount that I do with other gels and watered it down some before applying. It worked fine but is just too heavy for my type hair. Just don’t care for thick sticky gels but it may work great for others! I did love the Orange Marmalade that came a week or so later (it had been backordered)! That one is my new favorite hair product and I have tons since I love experimenting!

Very drying to your hair I washed and conditioned my hair and use this and the next day all I had was a dried out afro with no definition would never buy again

Finally a replacement for duva curl definition gel. Once they discontinued it I needed a replacement tired over 30 different products nothing worked great like this one! You only need a little and even works on dry hair it creates a hard cast for sure. I have type 2 to 4 curls Irish deep curls and need it to last a week. If you don't like a hard cast don't get this. Please don't change this I love it!

I was skeptical about this gel because of the price point as well as other reviews. I’m not sure if it is because I actually took my time but my wash n go has never come out this good! I did pair it with the Doux Mousse Def as my hair is kinky and does not form ringlets so I need to layer. This is not new practice, I pair all my gels with Mousse Def. I have a strict hair regimen as well. I wash every 5-7 days (no more than 10 days between washes) and don’t use a ton of product. I don’t use leave ins, oils or butters. Sometimes I go the 5 days with no product at all. My hair does have a cast but Mousse Def creates a cast on its own so I’m not sure if the gel also contributed to my cast. It is not extremely hard and there is not residue. I only used it once and will update my review when I use it again. I also added a picture of it wet and then dry the next morning! Hope this helps!
