An API? I'm assuming thier appnis calling to some backend to pull the list of gifs they have in the app but as for the user you go and download or make a gif file and upload it to an internal memory card.

Q: Does the backpack display work if the phone is far away from the backpack (let's say 3miles away)?

If you don't need to change the images or you have already uploaded the images you want to display, the backpack will continue to display them. (The backpack will display pictures that exist in the playlist as long as it is powered on) However, if you want to change the pictures, you have to keep the device close to the phone, because the device has to be connected in order to be able to change and upload pictures or text. if you have any problem, please feel free to contact us: aluncle@outlook.com
