COBI Historical Collection WWII Grumman TBF Avenger Aircraft

My son loves WW2 planes and Star Wars. He now has several of the COBI WW2 planes and they really look great on his shelf. All parts have been there, easy to put together, and no issues with parts fitting, well made. Apparently, the Star Wars craft and the WW2 fighters battle it out sometimes!

My adult son really likes these sets by Cobi. They look nice and some have moving parts.

This model has just the right amount of detail to make for a satisfying build experience without turning into a multi-evening commitment. The instructions are clear, even if they are mostly pictures. Just pay close attention to the pieces used at each step; a few are almost identical in shape and color, and you won't figure out you used the wrong one until several steps later. My kit didn't have any missing pieces and included a few extras of the really small ones. Everything fit together snugly without forcing anything. The finished plane is very recognizable as the Avenger, though a little cartoonish. With around 400 small pieces and 80+ assembly steps, this kit requires patience and care to build. I'd recommend it for kids 8+ through adults. I think it would also make a greast parent/child project.

This was a gift for our grandson and a big hit! It is quality material, not cheap plastic. And also a good size. Totally recommend.

Good product for the money. No missing pieces. Wish it was 1:32 scale, but still a good size with a 13 inch wing span. I still had a hard time seeing the navy blue pieces in the instructions. Guess I'll have the same problem with the Wildcat I still have to build. Cobi does a great design with these planes, and I would recommend buying their sets for military displays.

My son loved this! Directions to Cobi are a little less clear than Lego but my 11 year old was able to figure it out and once built, it has been very stable while he plays with it. Nice colors and detail. Highly recommend!

Disfrute mucho este modelo. Es genial que tenga piezas impresas y no tener que colocar pegatinas. Me gusto que la torre del artillero se arme con varias piezas, y no solo una burbuja. La figura piloto es muy inferior al modelo.
