flowcheer Foaming Hand Soap Starter Set with Glass Dispenser & 4 Tablets

I have bought this product a few times now because we are trying to avoid large plastic refill bottles whenever possible. The tablets are easy to use and dissolve within a few minutes. We put ours in an old foam soap dispenser. A couple helpful hints: 1) after you add the tablet to the bottle, put the water in SLOWLY so the tablet doesn’t start foaming right away and you don’t have to wait for the foam to disperse before adding more water to the bottle )2 after you add the water (leave a little room at the top) leave the top of the bottle off until the tablet completely dissolves or else the foam sometimes leaks out through the dispenser. It needs room to do its thing and then you can add the pump on. The scents are good and not too strong.

I was so frustrated that there are no brick & mortar stores near me that sell refills for my soap dispensers that aren't just mostly water - we have water at home!! Of course, Hank Green and Eco Geek brought me here. When Eco Geek released the Meliora soap refills for my foaming soap dispensers, I bought a few packs and had mixed but largely positive thoughts. I got what I wanted - small, economical tablets that can be dissolved in water to fill my foaming soap containers that I already have - but the Meliora soap was relatively thin and did not dissolve very well. After several refills, I wanted to see if any other similar products existed online and I came across these flowcheer tablets. I got the 12-pack with Eucalyptus, Lemon, and Ocean Breeze. As soon as I received the package, I prepared a container for each of the scents and I had planned on labelling each so that I could tell them apart - to my surprise, each soap is lightly dyed so I could tell which was which. The quality of the soap is much better, and the fragrances are stronger than Meliora and quite pleasant. I immediately noticed that the texture of this soap is also smoother, providing a rich lather that doesn't feel waxy or dry. Overall I'm delighted with the product and will likely purchase more of these in the future. And another note regarding packaging, this was the first time that I received an online order packaged entirely with sustainable material. For the first time ever, I received a kraft paper bag with fiber padding, and the soap tablets came in a cardboard box with each tablet packaged in what they claim to be compostable packaging. I'm a little skeptical about the multi-layer, moisture-resistant, foil-lined bags, but it's a huge improvement. I cannot wrap my head around single-use plastics and find it absolutely deranged that companies package goods designed to last days to months in plastic that will outlive me by 1000 years. So the sustainable packaging was a breath of fresh air. It would be nice to see US companies start to make moves toward better packaging like this. This product came from China and I immediately noticed a typo in the ingredients (first ingredient listed as "SSodium" ... proofreading goes a long way in establishing a strong brand) - I'll be happy to buy more products like this and I really hope that US manufacturers try to step up to this level of quality, economy, and common sense.

i really like the soap these make!! i don’t have soft water in my home, and i find this soap is gentler on my hands than many tend to be without it. in fact, when i wash with this soap, i *feel* like i am washing with soft water. it’s great! i use less lotion now, and i’m thrilled by that. i also quite like the scents i ordered (lemon, eucalyptus, and sea minerals or sea breeze, something like that) and find them all to be gentle and pleasant. i do wish it had some additive to stabilize the foam a bit more? i find the cleansing agents are just the right strength, but the foam they make is not very stiff and can be messy to wash with as a result. that said, i still think they’re an excellent value for the money i spent, and i would very readily buy these or something similar again! i think it’s genius to ship soap as a solid—water is HEAVY and expensive to move around, so if i can have the soap and add the water myself, that saves me money AND is better for the planet! one tip: because what happens when you drop these bad boys in water is a chemical reaction, this soap really *is* best made with distilled or filtered water. tap water almost always has minerals dissolved in it that could interfere with the reaction and leave you with a less-than-awesome soap. i also found the recommended 8 oz per tablet to be *about* right, so if you’re concerned about the soap being too watery, make sure you stick with that ratio! all in all, a really good quality product, would definitely order it again!

This product works really well. I had always used Blueland and wanted to try this out. The sample pack was helpful because I really like the lavender and the eucalyptus, but I was not a fan of the other two in the pack. The soap gets a very good lather and foams well. It also dissolves faster than the Blueland products. The product also cleans well and does not dry out my hands.

I purchased the variety 6 pk. I really like these for our lake house because they are very handy to use and easy to store vs 6 bottles of hand soap! Scents are very pleasing as well. Only very minor drawback is sometimes there are particles that do not dissolve. Still for the money and convenience - it’s not a big deal.

I love using these. They do a fantastic job of cleaning hands when used. The product foams up nicely. When you put it in a soap dispenser first you put the water, then you put the tablet, and leave the lid unscrewed for about 10 minutes or so and then you'll have foaming soap. Also, you can use any soap dispenser that can be refilled for foaming soap.

I bought these thinking I would try something new. They are more sustainable than the other options I have purchased in the past. The scents are light and not heavy and I love that. Unfortunately it feels more like foamy water than foaming hand soap. It still kind of feels like my hands are getting clean, but I have to use twice as much.

I was skeptical about the foaming quality before I bought this kind of foam, but I am sold on this brand after a month of use. My first and basically only disappointment is I wish the smell was a little stronger. But, most people don't really care about the fragrance, especially considering how good this tablet turns into soap. Tablets are a great thing for environmental protection. Because if you think about a supply chain, moving something like hand soap from one part of the planet to another is really expensive because you are shipping mostly water; which is not known for being light and easy to ship. Solid tablets like this store much more easily, and therefore move around much more easily. This one box is basically a one year supply for a two person house hold. I bought my first set a month ago and I only now finally had to refill my soap dispenser. The foam feels nice, and it feels like it cleans. That's about as much as I can ask for.

Great quality soap, foams well! I’m really liking this soap so far, the quality is really great, and it dissolves pretty quickly, and smells great! Plus it being environmentally friendly is a huge win too

Love this concept. I don't understand why so many negative reviews. Two things to remember the fragrance is subtle and foaming is mild but still does the job. People complaining about the tablet not desolving are probably doing it wrong. Remember not more than 250ml and use quite warm water. Shake it lightly a couple of times in interval. Love eco friendly good packaging and imagine the amount of plastics you save. Highly recommended.
