Beyond Expectations!
This review is for the following: iSpring RCC1UP-AK 100 GPD 7-Stage Reverse Osmosis Under Sink Water Filtration System with Boost Pump, Alkaline Remineralization, UV Filter, and Top-Mounted Faucet; purchased 8 Jul 25, installed 17 Jul 25. iSpring WGB32B-KDS 3-Stage Whole House Water Filter with a 1st Stage Anti-Scale Water Filter, 2nd Stage GAC+KDF Heavy Metal Reducing Filter, and a 3rd stage Carbon Block Filter; purchased 20 Jul 25, installed 27 Jul 25. iSpring WSPSL-ARJ-BP Spin Down Sediment Water Filter with Siliphos and Touch-Screen Auto Flushing; purchased 20 Jul 25, installed 27 Jul 25. I wanted to install a drinking water filtration system for several years but never had the time to do it. Now that I’m retired, I decided it was time to finally get it done. Our city water source in Alaska meets “approved” levels for water quality, but always has a sulfur smell, and scaling is also a problem. To add to our concerns, we often get sediment when we have earthquakes near our area. I spent a great deal of time reviewing various filtration systems on the internet and Amazon to find the best fit for my needs. Though there are many good systems out there, I chose iSpring because they offered the best options and had the best reviews for filtration systems and customer support. I first purchased and installed the RCC1UP-AK 7-Stage RO/UV drinking water filtration system thinking that was all I wanted. I mounted it in my basement crawl space underneath the refrigerator because of the ease of running wiring for an electrical GFCI receptacle from my garage circuit breaker panel to power the booster pump and UV filter, and because of the way my PEX piping is routed. I’m very qualified to perform this type of work but wouldn’t recommend someone doing the same if not knowledgeable and qualified, that includes splicing in valves and connectors for PEX tubing and installing the filtration system, not to mention any electrical work. It took me two days to get everything installed from running a feed line for the drinking water sink faucet, creating a filter bypass line, splicing into the refrigerator ice maker/drinking water line, running an electrical circuit, and mounting and activating the new RO/UV filtration system. To say my wife and I are pleased with the quality of the drinking water we are getting from our new filtration system would be an understatement. Whether we get the drinking water chilled from the refrigerator faucet or from the new sink faucet, the RO/UV filtered water tastes outstandingly fresh and pure. And the bonus of having the sink drinking faucet is we can now wash our fruits and vegetables in purified water! Should anyone want to know, the TDS readings for our unfiltered water supply runs around 250ppm, but coming from the RO/UV filter, it drops to 12ppm. Because of how well the RO/UV filtration system works, and because we still have the problem of the sulfur smell, scaling, and earthquake caused sediment coming out of the rest of the house faucets, I decided to purchase and install a Whole House Filtration System. Again, I went with iSpring for the same reasons I installed the RO/UV Filtration System. However, I decided to go with their ultimate filters for the 3 stage Filtration System and the Spin-Down Sediment Filter. Again, I installed the system in the crawl space, but next to the water supply entrance and extended the electrical circuit for a second GFCI receptacle to power the Sediment Filter Auto Flush. This time, it took me 4 days to complete the job because I took advantage of the incoming water shutoff to splice in SharkBite Max cold/hot water valves to every feeder line in the house for individual isolation. What a difference having a Whole House Filtration System has made to the quality of our water. It has been just over a week since it went on-line, and the results have been absolutely incredible. We no longer have the sulfur smell, and scaling is completely gone. We haven’t had any local earthquakes yet, but I’m certain we won’t have a sediment problem either. I can also comment on iSpring’s customer service. I took advantage of their free 3-year warranty extension by registering the products on their website. I’m not going to say it was easy to input the information on their support page because it doesn’t seem to function very well. It took me at least 3 tries for each of the Filtration Systems because the website kept giving errors and locking up, but perseverance prevailed, and I was finally able to register all three systems. It didn’t take but a day to hear back from Sean and Nick respectively to let me know that my 3-year warranties have been activated. Though I didn’t speak to them directly, I’m certain I would be very happy talking with them to help me with any issues I might have. Other reviews mention how helpful customer service personnel are or have been and I can believe it. Bottom line, I highly recommend iSpring Filtration Systems for your drinking and/or whole house filter needs. You won’t be sorry! And check out the attached photos to get an idea of my installation.

Awesome Spin Down Sediment Filter
Thank you to Robert from iSpring support for all the help when I needed it. This is a great product and I can SEE the stuff captured before the water continues onto the rest of the iSpring filter setup for the house. Definitely recommend this for everyone. The valve handle as others have stated is more of a novelty as even my unit doesn't move. But the flush seems to perform good enough and clean the screen so I don't know if its absolutely necessary yet. This was easy to install - just use unions to make any replacements or movement in the future to be easy to do. I think for what it does its a great value for your money.

Easy install and very sturdy product.
The unit installs easily and is impressive. The heavy duty design is preferred over other products I’ve seen for this use. Only wish that the valve handle was made of metal. It’s a bit hard to turn but Laurence in customer service was extremely helpful in addressing this concern. Performance has easily met my expectations.

Worthless piece of plastic garbage. I bought it to filter the silt of out well water. - it has an automatic flush valve 👍... Which CANNOT be synchronized with the pump being ON. So, worthless feature - it can be backwashed👍... But doesn't have a dedicated backwach waterway - try he backwash comes through the same outlet where the clean water comes. So, YUO have to provide and external diverter that redirects the clean and the dirty water to different pipes - it bolsters high volume👍... Well, you have to backwash it every other day, because the fine mesh gets clogged If you miss to backwash it every other day - the punny plastic handed won't budge. The technical support tells you to use the filter wrench that comes with the filter as a lever to turn the punny plastic handle... Which eventually bends enough to break. You unscrew the 2 screws that hold the punny plactic handle in place and underneath is hiding another punny plastic axis that its top got distroyed. So, you shove a couple of ison rods down the cavities of the punny plastic axel and wedge a third one between them and VERY carefully turn the axel. That will get me going for the few days I need to find and install a real filter

Excellent Customer Service / Bypass Valve Filter needs work
I ordered the Spin Down Filter with Siliphos and with the Bypass Valve as to deal with my scale problem. The filter itself seems to be working as advertised for the 2-months I have had it. I noticed a vast improvement in shower glass dried spots and increased spray pressure from the dual shower heads. My ultimate test for this unit is to prevent the scale from accumulating on the heating elements of my new hot water heater. That will take time to tell if this filter will take care of it, but I am hopeful from what I see elsewhere. I would not purchase the filter with the Bypass Valve since it is extremely difficult to turn the valves. There is a plastic wrench that you attach to the plastic handle, and then things can go bad quickly with plastic. I broke the bypass valve lever within a few days, but got it back to the "filter" mode and was going to use the filter as if it did not have the bypass valve on it. I received an email from Laurence at iSpring after I registered the warranty and I told him what I had done. Laurence sent me a new replacement head, which is the upper part of the filter. This new filter can be turned but still very tight. I have a fear of breaking this one as well. If you purchase an iSpring unit, I would suggest to go ahead and buy the filter WITHOUT the bypass valve, and just make your own bypass. I wanted a bypass valve in case the filter started leaking, where I could just bypass it until I had time to fix it. I will probably just make my own one of these days, but the filter itself seems to be working great. Just avoid the type with the valve bypass and get the basic filter and make your own bypass.

Excellent customer support, product knowledge, and highest quality products
I have a well system and purchased a WSP50SL-ARJ-BP siliphos whole house filter and began to lose flow rate. I contacted iSpringfilter support and explained my situation. My support representative was Nick. Who is exceptional in his product knowledge and determined that the water system needed a 100 micron filter. He explained the 50 micron filter screen was to fine and trapping well sediment creating a buildup on the filter screen; in which, the automated flushing system would not be able remove. He was confident the issue would be resolved with the 100 micron filter and was sending a replacement filter free of charge. That’s what I call customer service. Shout out to Nick, thank you for understanding the customer situation and providing exceptional product knowledge. I highly recommend iSpringfilter products for your water treatment systems.
