Our first dehydrator was one of those round, black passive coil with air vent types that you could get at Kmart in the 80's! We still have one up on a shelf. Rather that dust that thing off we did some research and decided on this YASHE food dehydrator and have found it to be an excellent investment. We've made jerky and other dried meats as well as a ton of banana chips and other types of dried fruits for storage and future use. It's super easy to use, quiet, and relatively inexpensive to use, especially if you run it mostly in the daytime with solar. It has all of the features that you'll want for a home dehydrator such as timer, temperature controls, easy-cleaning racks, as well as rack liners that allow for air movement but help reduce any dripping from juices or marinades used in prepping your food. It even has a light so you can check on the progress without opening that door! We're really loving this new dehydrator and can definitely recommend it.

I love this dehydrator! It has a nice compact design, the temperature control is easy to use and accurate. The drying times are suggested, so keep an eye on your food. If you go by the instructions, it is spot on, but of course will require adjusting due to thickness and type of food being processed. It is well built, it holds a lot of items. I love that it comes with metal and plastic shelve covers. It cleans easily and works great.

This upgraded my food prep routine, I bought this at the beginning to make homemade jerky and some dried fruit but now I am using this almost daily, the space is great I chose the 14 trays and they let me prep huge batches at once which has been great so far. I have dried many many things and all came out great but I have my preferences on fruits and jerky. This didn't feel cheap and its actually made from steel which I thought it was plastic but no, it was pretty simple to clean I just put the trays into the dishwasher and that is it, I wipe the insides and that's it not much problem to be honest. I prepare most of my food on the weekends and use it throughout the week that's why I say its great for my meal preps.

So far so good, but I've only had it a month. I had a top of the line magic mill at 4 times the price. It started overheating after a year. Magic mill sold me the same faulty part that almost burnt my house down, so I could waste more time and money. This yashe dehydrator is smaller with no bells and whistles but very efficient so far. The 1000w heater makes it more efficient. I would rather have the stiff silicone mats, as the soft floppy ones that came with it are too hard to clean. Otherwise I'm happy with it so far.

This YASHE food dehydrator is amazing! With 12 stainless steel trays and 10 presets, it’s super easy to dry fruits, jerky, and even dog treats. The timer and temperature control work great, and it’s really quiet. It’s powerful but simple to use, and the included recipes are a nice bonus!

Wow, I purchased this back in July of 24 and the heating element stopped working. I had purchased the extended warranty thru asurion. I don't know how the company that sold me the YASHE found out that it broke but they offered to replace it for me free of charge. I was pleased that they'd do that after having it for 6 months but they did, I received a replacement a couple of days ago. I will purchase again from them knowing they stand behind their product.

First time using this type of tool and it works great. It was exactly what I was looking for to minimize the food waste. Super easy to use. Great size for an small kitchen like mine. Comes with instructions that makes the whole process foolproof. Also, I this that it is beautiful and looks great in my counter. I’m so happy with the results.
