This hearty combination of organic vegetables, turkey and quinoa has a slightly chunkier consistency than a straight puree. It's the perfect meal for a growing baby ready for yummy, new flavors.

BEWARE: Check your packaging!! NOT HAPPY WITH HAPPYBABY
I’m really disappointed with happybaby. I’ve purposely have been buying this because of the 4g of protein and I just got a delivery today and it’s only 3g of protein and more sugar! Did they change their recipe and not tell anyone!? Please check your happybaby products!!!UPDATE!!! PLEASE SEE THE BELOW EMAIL FROM HAPPYBABY DIRECTLY: "We recently updated our packaging and included the new FDA Nutrition Facts Panel regulations. The pouch you received includes the updated nutrition panel (calorie count is bolded) which also has a few adjustments to the Daily Values. The protein was adjusted because there is a new tool that helps to calculate the Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS). The protein amount did not change, however due to this calculation which takes into consideration the quality of the protein, you will notice an increase in the DV that each pouch provides.During this packaging change, we added a bit more carrot juice concentrate which is why you see an increase in the amount of sugar called out on the panel. The increase in sugar was a very small amount however due to rounding rules, the gram amount had to be rounded up to the nearest whole number."

I use these to make dog treats
I try to feed my Great Pyrenees healthy food. For the most part she gets people grade food and organic when I can afford it. I use these Happy Baby Organic pouches to make treats. Following is the recipe:1 cup organic corn meal. 1 cup organic quick oats. 2 TBS olive oil. 1 tsp baking powder. 1 egg. 1 pouch Happy Baby. 1 TBS ground flax. 2 TBS organic whole milk powder. Add enough water to mix - consistency will be like cake mix. Spread in a greased 9x13 pan. Cook about 30-35 minutes at 350.

Beware!
Not sure if any other parents are having issues with there order. My son is 11 month old and he has been eating this brand since he started solids. We never had problems with other orders before but this batch. The texture is spongy and is watery at 1st. I have tried to squeeze and shake it to mix it up but it doesn’t not seem like it works. My son would gage and is unable to swallow. Other times when we squeeze it the watery part would spill out of the pouch.Date is not expired. We will update with the next order.

Daughter Loves These, but Last Case was Bad
These are my daughter's favorite. Unfortunately the last case we got probably got too hot on the truck or in a warehouse, and went bad. I let her try one from each box, and she tried some, made a bad face and said no dada, it tastes bad. We were finishing the last case and didn't try it before the return date had passed, so I got screwed on this one.

Used to be great. Now it's like soup.
We've been buying and feeding both the Gobble Gobble and Chick Chick varieties for quite a few months, and our daughter loved them. Recently, with the new names and packaging came some sort of recipe change where it went from being thick and textured to watery (essentially soup-like). It's so messy to feed now, and she doesn't like it nearly as much. It's like they just upped the water content to make it soupy. What happened to the thicker formulations we used to love??

Disappointed w/ Recipe/Nutrition Change
Someone else posted a review about this issue and included Happy Baby's response. I don't buy it, it doesn't really make sense. The rep claimed it did not, but the protein amount DID change - decreased 25% from 4 g to 3 g...she refers to the daily value, but we are not talking about the % RDA/RDV. And the sugar increased 100% from 2 to 4 g - that is not rounding up as she claimed. I do not appreciate the BS on top of the disappointment of these changes. I was buying this food due to protein content and low sugar....will no longer purchase.

It tastes bad. My son really didn’t like it.
The root vegetabile and turkey with quinoa tastes so bad that my little one spit it right out. He is a chunky baby and not a picky eater. Usually he likes all of the Happy Baby food so I wanted to try this one as well. My bad for not tasting it before giving it to him. I just assumed he would like it like the rest of them. This one has a terrible taste. I wish I could return the entire box of 6. I’ve already opened one.

Our baby loves this!
I haven't tried it myself but it must taste amazing because our baby eats this so quickly! He loves it. I feel good about it being organic and able to see the ingredients and how much are in it. Not a big deal but I'm not sure if I would consider this stage 3 because it didn't seem very thick.
