Sounds great, good replacement for the standard Yamaha 4C everyone begins with. Good enough to get by with just this indefinitely.

So i got this BetterSax Tenor mouthpiece for a Mini Sax i got a few years ago that i felt like messing with again.. The mouthpiece that came with it had me blowing my brains out, just to get a lot of squeaks and air. i think i originally switched that piece of junk out for a Yamaha, but then later put the Yamaha on something else. So.. Now i popped this BetterSax on, with a Legere synthetic reed, and a BG ligature.. and the sound is way better. warm.. and effortless. i'm a happy camper

He comprado por primera vez esta boquilla, y puedo asegurar, después de tanto tiempo en que vengo con la Vandoren T75 Jumbo Java y la T55 Jumbo Java, que es muy buena. Es bien estable en los cambios de temperatura, buen cuerpo en el sonido, brillo, firme respuesta de ataque en todos los registros ( principalmenteen el grave). Soy saxofonista dominicano, instrumentista profesional y me encanta como me ha resultado en nuestros géneros populares🇩🇴... me he pasado de la t55 vandoren Jumbo java a esta😊

This company knows what its doing I purchased a Yamaha 4c for an alto saxophone and had a poor experience bought a new tenor and ordered a tenor sax from bettersax and it's so good I'm buying their entire line for tenor because I am so excited to see what the rest sound like. To briefly explain why they're so good half of this instrument is the mouthpiece if you can't make a sound fast and easy this instrument will be nothing but frustrating imagine talking but having a bad stuttering problem that results you stopping your sentence completely. That's what playing with a bad mouthpiece feels like something that should feel effortless requires much more energy and thought leaving less to express yourself on the saxophone this eliminates that by a large margin for those who might need a measurement if the standard mouthpiece I had made it 20% possible to play this mouthpiece increased my ability to do so easier by at least 70-80% I'm going to upgrade to the multiple hundred dollar mouthpieces just to see what my dollar gets me at a higher price point. This mouthpiece has completely convinced me that bettersax is the company I'll use to learn this instrument helping with this issue is pivotal in a player's development if you're thinking about this or a Yamaha mouthpiece of any kind and you're a new player please buy this and grab a set of variety reeds by vandoren and find your sound. Very uneven on the sides. I like my stock mouthpiece better. I will try a Yamaha 4c next

Für meinen umstieg von alt auf tenor bei ca. 2 jahren spielerfahrung ist das Mundstück nicht geeignet gewesen. Meiner meinung nach ist das Mundstück eher für fortgeschrittene wegen der großen bahnöffnung. Ich habe anschließend das standart Yamaha 4C gekauft, und siehe da, alles spricht super an, funktioniert direkt viel besser.
