A simple spot light, made from sturdy materials which suggests it is better suited for outdoor use either for a garage or garden. Our intention is to use this as an uplight for a tree in our garden, but we don't have an outdoor plug yet so it's not fully in use.In terms of everything else, it's very bright and immediately switches on when plugged in so don't look directly into it like I did...The cable isn't very long, so you'd need to make sure it is within reach of a suitable socket. Also, it doesn't have any form of on/off switch. It does, however, have a clamp with a tightening wing nut for secure attaching.Overall, for £17.99, it's okay if a bit basic and totally depends what sort of look you're going for. Personally, I probably wouldn't get this again.

I've had this light out in all weathers including hailstones and temperatures below freezing with no problems at all. It proved invaluable when I needed to do some work under my car bonnet at night. Using the clamp and the swivel head of the actual lamp body, I could position it exactly where I needed it. It gives off a good strong white light and doesn't get hot to touch even when it's been on for many hours.

We know LED lights can get surprisingly bright with much lower equivalent wattage than your old incandescent, happy to report this light is no exception to that, gives off plenty of light while not using much power.What is impressive is how solid it looks, completely sealed so would be fine outdoors in all weather as it is watertight. The clip is great for either outdoor or indoor use at it will clip anywhere outside there is an object for it to clip on to so yes it is quite versatile.This light is especially useful if you have a small work area where you are doing something like arts & craft or even some DIY as it can be clipped and then pointed to the area (rotates in all directions from the clip) giving you light in that area.
