False advertising
Description says "The EAR soft FX is currently the best protective ear plug on the market (SNR39)," and the advertised signal-to-noise ratio of 39 dB is why I bought them. But the SNR of the product I received is 37 dB (not 39), and from 37 to 39 dB is a difference of 60% in terms of power (because dB is logarithmic) so not only it's false advertising but also the difference is significant.

3M 1100C30 are much much better than these
I tested: Quies vs 3M 1100C30 vs 3M E-A-R 3M 1100C30 are the BEST, scored: 77.6 Quies scored: 77.5 3M EAR scored: 69.7 So 3M 1100C30 are cheapest AND the best... if you do NOT have an option, then go for QUIES ones... the noise cancelling difference is HUGE, especially for lower 'bassy' type of sounds... but honestly, just get: 3M 1100C30 on amazon, they cost nothing AND are the best

The best you can get.
I’ve tried other brands and always come back to these. They really are the best. Don’t be afraid to shove them right in as per the instructions, as this is what gives them the highest rating. You can also snip the non-flange end off a bit if you feel that they are too long with a pair of scissors!
