I've had two other make of handheld steamers and this one out performs the other by some distance removing creases with ease. It' is also a very compact unit for travel. I know others have mentioned that the water tank is small and needs refilling often but this doesn't matter because the steam output is excellent so it takes less time to remove the creases from clothes and there is more than enough capacity to steam several items at a time. After a month or so it developed a fault but the customers service for the replacement from Jaina in the Support Team was exceptional. The replacement arrived the next day. Great product and great company.

I bought this to take in my hold luggage for an upcoming holiday. For travel purposes, it's a little heavier than I expected, although obviously it's still significantly lighter than the large Tefal steamer I use at home. I'm actually quite surprised by how well it performs. It seems just as effective as my branded, heavier steamer and produces a strong amount of steam. Of course, that may change over time as it develops limescale, but so far I'm impressed. My branded steamer constantly needs descaling, which is certainly affecting its performance. The Jack & Rose steamer is smaller and much lighter, making it easier to handle and manoeuvre. The water tank does empty fairly quickly, but that's to be expected given its compact size. The good thing is that it also heats up very fast. Another thing that I really like is that the water tank can be fully opened to dry. My branded steamer only has a small opening, so it never dries completely and constantly has a musty smell. I originally bought this steamer for travel, but I have a feeling I'll end up using it regularly at home as well, simply because it's so much easier to manoeuvre. With my old steamer, my arm would feel tired after steaming just one garment because of the weight. This one is much lighter and easier to handle, making the whole process far more comfortable.

Not entirely patch free as can spit a couple of droplets onto clothing but deals fairly well with even thicker fabric and certainly leaves clothes refreshed even if not perfect. 2 steam output rate a nice touch and managed to do a thin sleeveless shirt and a pair of thickish cotton twill trousers mostly perfectly wrinkle-free with water / steam left. Garments are not damp but fully dry and can go back straight into the wardrobe. Cord could be another meter longer but not excessively short so manageable and the weight is nice and not too heavy overall but not quite balanced between head and plug, so once finished and leaving to cool out it’s essential to have enough space for the plug to rest along the steamer as it will tip it if hung down. Shame no smart plug / converter comes with it since one of the main advertising point is the global voltage safety, so would have been a nice touch to have that if USB plug connection not possible. Charged approx £10 more just to have it in a different colour way but I suppose that’s on me for not wanting to look at a Dyson knock off colour scheme magenta product. All in all recommendable.

I love a good gadget, and this is by far one of my favourites! So simple to use. Good run time before needing to top up. Heats up rapidly and removes creases fast and easy. Good weight - not too heavy to use for a period of time, and heavy enough to appreciate its quality.

Amazed!! I cannot believe how well this works. I’ve had travel steamers before but none that work this well. Although slightly heavier this is super efficient and one I highly recommend. The kit is great with a ‘holder’ to lean on when it’s hot. The 3 settings as well are fantastic. It removes creases super quickly with minimal water usage meaning the water tank was only filled every 2 shirts or dresses. Highly recommend as the value for money is amazing.

The product is great. After using it for over a year and a half some scaling built up and efficacy dropped (which I could have avoided by using deionised water instead of tap water). Reached out to the Jack & Rose support with the issue, got a prompt response and a new replacement delivered within a day because the product was still within the 2 year warranty. Great service!

Overpriced for what it does. The top becomes very hot when using it which is not safe and you can’t change the position once you start using it since you can’t touch it. It takes longer to heat than what’s advertised and you have to keep using the “dry” option each time you need to put it down (which has no use since it’s very low heat you can’t iron any fabric). It also doesn’t last long as advertised and it takes more than 30 seconds to heat which is also not what’s advertised. It irons 1-2 garments in “low” mode and only 1 garment using “high” option. The water compartment is also poorly designed as the button is hard to press to release it, specially when it’s hot and you only have one hand to press and remove as the other one is holding a stick with a hot surface on the top! Not to mention it keeps shutting down while using it (presumably as a safety mechanism to prevent overheating but what’s the point if you can’t use the product or if by turning on and off again it starts working which means it’s not safe to prevent any overheating).
