Milton the Monster: Horror Hill Epitaph

Good book with lots of pictures
It was a complete shock to see this turn up on Amazon. A nice book with a history of the show, a complete episode guide with lots of pictures and a section on collectables. I would also really like to see books on the King Kong Show and the 1966 animated Lone Ranger show.

Hoped For A Tincture More Quality
I loved the Milton the Monster series, in fact was just 7 when it came out and never missed an episode and have known the theme-song by heart for nearly 60 years. And while I'm grateful for Collier's effort, there are 2 things that stand out in this book: #1 the repeating and repeating of the same information every other page (ie: character listings of the series which are endlessly stated; #2 the sadly annoying typos, which always signal that 100% effort was not given to the production of the book. I'm OK with the inside being completely black & white, there is no color over than the cover -- I just wanted harder information, more background from Seeger or his peers about why they chose a 'monster show' for children (was it because of the late 50s/early 60s monster craze and Shock Theater?), just a little more effort. Again, I'm glad to have this book for $7-something, but will only give it a nice C+ overall.

Great old book.
I really enjoyed this book. Very fast, simple read, but if you are a fan of Milton the Monster then you will enjoy this book.
