It was ready to use right out of the box.It’s compact and portable, making it perfect for a small backyard like mine. I usually use it to prepare food for two people, and it’s perfect. Despite its size, the grill distributes heat evenly, and my food cooks perfectly every time. Cleanup is straightforward, though you’ll need to properly maintain the seasoning for long-term use.Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone who wants a reliable and portable grill without sacrificing performance. This is a good solid grill. Perhaps a bit pricey but should last a number of years.

...four person could be tricky as this one is really portable size. Not super heavy, well made, simple to put up, no barriers so prone to wind but once it heats up it roasts very, very quick.Would not recommend for veggies, but any kind of meat- perfect.

I was specifically looking for a compact, cast iron barbecue that would grill a meal for one or two people and store in my caravan. This fits the bill exactly. 5 minutes assembly and hopefully I can keep it seasoned and working for years. Please do check the measurements though, because it really is small. The grilling surface is about the same as a disposable barbecue. That was exactly what I wanted, but that's not for everyone.

Surface appears to be a bit on the small side BUT when you get cooking on it you will be surprised by how much you can cook on it.I was going to buy another but found out I didn't need to caters for up to 6 people quite easily. A very good buy & should last for a very long time.
