I was looking for a magnifying lamp for miniature painting, and wondering on the price/quality to go for. This product ticks all the boxes, its well made with high quality metal/plastics but not too expensive plus its from a brand that isn't just a jumble of letters, with a proper website etc. The glass lenses are very clear and the lamp is bright and has 4 levels of brightness. It should be noted there is no temperature adjustment for the light, but this was not an issue for my use case and perfectly acceptable in my opinion given the price and quality. The adjustment works well and the arm stays in place once located. The main advantage over the competition however, particularly for miniature painting, is the swappable lenses. The 3 diopter and 5 diopter lenses that come with the light are the 2 options that seem most suited for mini painting, which of these you like will depend on how much magnification you need vs how close you want to work to the light. Having both was a huge selling point as then you don't risk buying a lamp that has 1 fixed option that isn't right for your needs. This also gives the flexibility to change magnification depending on what you're working on. I would recommend this lamp, for a mini painter in particular.

Brilliant magi light with 3 bright setting, large magnifying area and great quality.

Solid piece of kit, comes with interchangeable lenses which easily swap out. More than enough light settings for me (aging model maker). Only gripe is that the lamp just slots into the base and doesn't stay where you want it by irritatingly rotating to a point of stability. I'll try adding some kitchen roll to see if that creates sufficient friction. Still pleased with it though.

Good daylight light with magnifier. Fits firmly on table and easily managed into positions required. I use it for needlework, and cannot imagine life before I got this, especially the angles I can position the light, without it getting in the way of what I am doing. The magnifier is a real bonus. Very good quality all round.

Very pleased with the larger magnifying area and adjustable brightness of the light. Much easier to use for cross stitch etc than my previous smaller lamp.

Very impressed with light. Being able to move light and large magnifying lens easily makes using it a pleasure. Clamped at end of bench and it reaches well past middle.

Bought for my hobby workshop. The utility of the lamp and lens cannot be faulted. Clear lenses show detail well and makes easy to work without the strange ‘wearing boxing gloves’ disconnected feel you get from some setups. Very easy to articulate and position and it stays in place. Light brightness is excellent, adjustable and uniform. Lens has detachable cover to prevent fires from sun, and in my case dust and overspray settling on it. The desk clamp is the weak element here. Tightening the clamp to the desk makes the whole clamp assembly bend open under the strain. The socket of the desk clamp into which the lamp assembly is slotted, is a plastic plug that wobbles a lot allowing the whole lamp to wobble about, it also spins freely, so an uneven desk will likely give it a mind of its own. My Benq E desk lamp costs about the same and looks and feels far better built.

Omega 5 je skvělý produkt, doporučuji koupit. Výhody: LED diody umožňují nasvícení zkoumaného objektu ve 3 teplotních barvách, pro každou barvu 4. úrovně jasu. Dlouhé rameno pro snadnou manipulaci s objektivem umožňuje pokrytí velké pracovní plochy. Ovládání pouze jedním tlačítkem, jednoduchá výměna objektivů. Nevýhody: Vypnutí LED diod je zdlouhavé tím, že je nutno projít všechny 4 úrovně jasu, až následující 5 úroveň je stav vypnuto. Tento postup není možné přeskočit. (Například podržením ovládacího tlačítka).
