The ICECO APL20 Portable Refrigerator (21 Qts, 12V) is absolutely the best! It’s extremely efficient, keeps everything perfectly cold, and runs so quietly. I’ve used other portable fridges before, but this one stands out for its solid build and reliable performance. I also highly recommend getting the custom ICECO bag that goes with it — it makes a huge difference in keeping everything cold and fits like a glove. I’m a quilter, so I know quality stitching and materials when I see them, and even though I could make a cover myself, I wouldn’t bother — this bag is that well-designed. Perfect combo for road trips, camping, or RV travel!

This little fridge/freezer is amazing! I originally purchased the ICECO APL 20 for car camping in August 2024. Then Hurricane Helene hit and destroyed my car, my house, nearly everything. I have been living in shelters & hotels since. (Picture is of my hotel ‘kitchen’ set up at the hotel I’m currently at.) The night of the Hurricane, I put as many valuable items as I could on higher ground. Never expecting the waters to reach upward of 5’, I thought the tops of my dressers would suffice for most of my belongings. Out of room, I placed my ICECO APL 20 on top of my bed in hopes it wouldn’t fall off into the water. When I returned to my house the next day, EVERYTHING on top of my dressers were destroyed as the flood waters tipped them all over. My mattress floated & my ICECO APL 20 was saved though!!! Being displaced awaiting on FEMA assistance, I’ve had to move around to several shelters and hotels. I’ve brought my ICECO APL 20 with me and it’s been a lifesaver as far as its versatility; when at a shelter, I’ve been able to store food & not be reliant upon inconsistent food delivery service. And when at hotels, I’ve utilized it as a freezer to store meats, pizza, breakfast bar items & donated foods for the days when food delivery service does not show. Soon I’ll be traveling with my ICECO APL 20 & realized I lost the vehicle charging cable in the flood so I called ICECO Customer Service. I only called customer service to make sure I didn’t order the wrong cable. I never imagined what happened next. Val & Mark with ICECO Customer Service, handled my concerns with compassion & enthusiasm in helping resolve my issue of needing a vehicle charging cable and asked me to give them a day to ask their managers if they could help me out with a warranty claim on the missing cable. They promptly y emailed me & then followed up with a telephone call and with management approval, they’re honoring a warranty claim due to the cable being destroyed - without my having to send them the damaged cable in because of the extraordinary circumstances. I was already impressed with ICECO’s products so It’s comforting to know that the company as a whole matches their quality products with excellent customer service and support. Fantastic overall experience. I cannot wait to be able to afford the ICECO APL 35 for car camping with my new car and continue using the APL 20 as a mini-freezer. These Iceco portable refrigerators are definitely worth the cost, in my opinion. Temperature is easy to set with the app. Compressor is super quiet. Kept it in our tent camper and can barely hear it turn on and off. Durability is top notch. I’m sure we’ll be using ours for many years to come.

Very good product! I bought this to replace the cooler/ice-chest that came with the new (to us) trailer we recently bought. I was concerned about the size of the IceCo frig being too big for the existing coolers space, so I called IceCo and spoke with one of their customer service agents (Rain, I think) who answered some questions regarding exact size and if some of the protruding parts of the fridge could be removed, such as the handles and/or the corner reinforcements. The answers I received that yes, they could be removed if space required, allowed me to confidently order. Yes, I did have to remove the handles for the fridge to fit into my trailer’s cubby, and yes, it’s a tight fit, but it works! Freezes well, and looks great. Thanks, IceCo!

Pros: Arrived quickly, cools quickly, runs quietly. Holds two, 1 gallon milk jugs or a single 2 1/2 gallon water jug, with a little left over space. Will not hold a standard 2x6 egg carton but a 3x4 egg carton fits perfectly. Cons: not able to create an account in the app due to never receiving the confirmation email, so I have to use it in guest mode. In my opinion, the cord, which only inserts in one direction, is backwards; it directs the cord towards the front of the unit, even though most people will be plugging it into a power source behind the unit.

After expressing some concerns about the Delivery, I received quick response from the customer service department and clear direction and contacts if I should have any problems. After waiting the appropriate time for the unit to remain upright, it started up and worked flawlessly. I am very grateful for the customer service department. And would highly recommend this product!

The most important aspect of this ICECO refrigerator (portable) is that is very light. Easy to operate out of the box, the app is super user friendly. The digital display seems comprised, you can see it move out of place as you anchor to sliding base inside the jeep. The aluminum outer panels are slimmer grade and you also see the whole structure of the box going to the limit, making light but in a flimsy way. Open/ close latches seem to isolate very nicely, keeping its contents and cooling/ freezing capabilities efficient and effective. Good value if you buy on sale or marked down. Quietness level in my opinion (first time owning one) is remarkable, especially driving my Jeep Wrangler!😬😜😁.

I purchased this to put in my van while traveling, but since this is so light and easy to move around, I now use this even when going grocery shopping, Costco and Sams run. Now I can buy Ice Cream and not worry about it melting before I get home. I do use with the Jackery Battery, so if we decide to stop for dinner after shopping, no problems. I thought it may be a little too small, but it is adequate, anything bigger would be too heavy to be convenient.

Great unit. Lot of space. Hi quality unit. Noise is acceptable and is not disturbing, but could be more silent. The fan make more noise than the compressor. Use it as a small fridge at home for 2 weeks now, and will carry it for next trip on the road.

Draws little power. Keeps cold. Bluetooth app is flawless. Nice ice and ice cream bars while camping is a game changer. Packs a weekend of food easy.

I purchased the cooler in July 2025 and used it for the summer. (It was great it sips power and works seamlessly with the app) When I went to use it in May it didn't cool. I contacted the company and after some troubleshooting steps it was determined that it had lost it's coolant. They arranged a replacement unit and shipped it with no charge to me. The service was prompt and courteous. I am impressed with this company

We've been using it for several months on occasional basis when we need to have longer drive for groceries. At first it looks small but it can pack more items than expected. Very pretty and well made too. I like the lid can stay open. We eventaully bought a portable Anker C300 power station for it. And it runs quite efficiently and get cool very fast. I hope it will last for a long time as it's still quite expensive with a discount (that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the price tag)
