Nice stuff, nice price.
I installed this on my xbull winch to replace the red rope it came with, the red rope was turning pink, so i decided it was time to turn the old stuff into a winch rope extension. The new winch rope is nice stuff overall, I like that it comes with bit of winch rope protector sleeve. It has a little bit of a stitching going through to rope to hold it in place, but it looks easy enough to undo if i ever need to move the protection sleeve around. I also added another couple leads of the protection sleeve to the rope before installation, sometimes it's nice to have a few points. Plus the sleeve protects the rope from long term uv damage. Doing a quick test with it, just pulling the jeep up a hill to set the rope on the spool i don't forsee any issues. I also like how this one has the red warning section to let you know you're getting close to the end of the spool and in the danger area. I'm a big fan of synthetic winch line, the old xbull stuff i abused pretty well. It can do stuff a steel cable can't, and it's a lot less likely to kill you. For the price, i don't cringe too hard when doing stuff like running the winch line from the front, right under the vehicle, and then pull the vehicle backwards! That was also the final "hey lets replace the xbull line" after i had to do that once... lol

Very nice and very complete winch rope
Ok…. Confession time…. I’m not completely sold on synthetic winch line. I have been a off road guy forever. Sadly have done more then my fair share of winching doing recovery’s and have always used Steele cable. I recently installed a Warn 9K on my 2000 Jeep TJ. Majority of “the guys” use synthetic so I thought I’d give it a try. I researched and found this Vevor rope to be both of good quality and pricing. So I got it. So far it seems great!! This particular rope has a bit thicker “tie” end that goes on the winch drum vs steel. I countersunk the hole flush and used a Allen head graded longer anchor screw. The first 5’ or so are orange material and I assume is the “grip” length on the winch drum. The rope loaded extremely easy and has a protective cover on the last 5’ before the Dally. It’s attached to the rope and very nice fit and quality. The included hook has a keeper and looks to be and feel of high quality materials. I loaded the drum with hand resistance only. It barely fit on the spool!! It Rubbed on the mounting plate. I unspooled it and hooked another Jeep to it with the E brake slightly on for more resistance. It spooled on better and significantly tighter. A much better fit. So I can say I very much like the rope, the ends, the hook, how it spooled and the protective sheathed hook end. I’m sure it will function flawlessly also. Good stuff, good buy!!

Great…with modifications
I bought this so I could help guide a rotten tree falling near my house. I did not need a winch so I needed to remove the end winch connector piece and make an eye splice that goes back into the rope. I also did not like the fact that the other end, with the hook, was only sliced back into the rope about 8 inches, this would not be strong enough to support the full load of the rope. I redid this and made an eye splice that went back into to the rope about 2ft. With those modifications, this rope successfully pulled a large maple tree away from my house while I cut it down. The tree fell where it was supposed to and the rope was the reason why. For the price and with a little research and modification this rope is great. If you just want one you can buy and not modify for your needs, then i wouldn’t recommend this, cause without modification i doubt it would pull heavy weight but with a longer eye spice on the hook end, then im pretty confident it would be strong enough.

Just do it
I was skeptical about it. I bought it. Holds up just as well as the $200 cable I had. Just buy it, save the money. Sure you won't feel as good as wasting your money on the "high quality" name brand, but this is gonna pull your rig out just the same as that one.

Je l'utilise depuis un an sur un treuil forestier en amateur pour sortir des petits troncs ou des perches de châtaignier , franchement il fait bien le taf , et pour le déroulement c'est beaucoup mieux qu'un filin métallique , je recommande .

was very good, however what I found is that then the rope after pulling and getting to a full stop it will stretch quite a bit
