Lush quality coffee
Ordered this 4 times and now have it on subscribe and save. It is the smoothest coffee I've ever had. I drink it black in the morning and the flavour is so nice. The smell while its perculating is amazing! If i have freeze dried after this, it just doesnt compare. If you like a strong and smooth coffee then this is a no brainer. It has chocolate undertones as well 😊 Ive made it for friends and they have asked what it is. My mum now buys it.

Nice coffee, badly packaged
Coffee lovely- unfortunately one of the packets had burst and it said the item couldn’t be returned for replacement and I couldn’t figure out how to get a refund on the Amazon site, as it kept leading me round in circles.

Lovely
lovely coffee makes a strong ish cup of coffee for me but with a smooth taste. Coffee tastes vary but if you like a strong smooth cup then this is worth a try.

Disappointed from an otherwise good brand.
I've bought and very much liked Café Direct instant coffees before but this, I don't enjoy as much. I'll compare it to Morrisons Molten Lava, which for about £3.50 is coffee I enjoy. It's strong, very strong in fact and has a great dark roast taste. This, Café Directs product, is what I'd thought to be not too far off that. It isn't, it's quite bland and I thought a bit metallic tasting. Disappointed but it's not THE worst I've tried.

A subtle but lingering taste.
Coffee taste is a personal thing. Until I retired I was 30 years in the coffee beverage industry, both equipment and ingredients. After retirement I stopped drinking espresso, far too many over the years caused me to look for a new taste. So I started at one end of the Waitrose shelves and determined to work my way to the other end looking for the perfect cafetière coffee. Long story short, I stopped at Mayan Gold and have been drinking it ever since because it hits my personal button. It is remarkably consistent in quality and it has, for me the perfect lingering aftertaste without being overly strong in the initial taste. I bought it from Amazon because it is so much cheaper than buying it in the supermarkets.
