Highly versatile and ideal for virtually any outdoor outlet setup. I struggled to find a reasonably priced outdoor outlet cover that met all my requirements—single-gang, compatible with lateral (or vertical) installation, and most importantly, designed for true in-use protection. The removable and replaceable tabs are a standout feature, ensuring the outlet remains watertight even when not in use. The cover also includes screw holes in every location you could possibly need, making installation easy. If there’s one minor drawback, it’s that the instructions are somewhat vague. However, given the number of possible configurations and installation options, fully detailed instructions would likely be a small novel. Anyone with basic electrical installation experience should have no trouble figuring it out, as the product is thoughtfully and effectively designed. Best used with Leviton Decora, Outdoor Use, Weather Resistant Outlets, they fit inside the gasket best!

They are a bit bigger than I thought they would be but they look very “utility” professional. Keep water out and you can see what’s plugged in . Templates on all the parts have lots of choices for screw holes so it takes a bit of finagling to find the right ones but easy and not a big deal…. Easy to install. And you end up with a bunch of extra screws for that “abyss” container at the end of the workbench!!!! Good choice.

Great product that keeps water out. Easy to install and can be used upright as well as sideways. Only suggestion I would make the knockouts for wires one half inch longer.

I like that you can see the plug inside. I replaced the old plastic opaque flip cover with these boxes and they work great. It keeps the rain/snow out. Very easy install.
