Good for annoying midges

Very effective - attracts and kills flies, and some pest moths. Not suitable for flour moths unless you have pheromones which you can add to the base. I am delighted, especially with it using LEDs over a tube. Silent unless it's zapping a fly. Trivial to set up.

It's a plastic lamp with a bait tray at the bottom. Every fly seems to avoid it. I had a other lamp that flies were drawn to. It zapped them. This one hasn't zapped anything in a week. Disappointed so far.

Works well and kills mosquitos (my main reason for buying) and other small bugs. The picture shows about 3 days worth - with the lamp in our living room, I haven't been bitten for 4 weeks. The mosquitos don't necessarily fly directly to the light, but they eventually end up there. With the windows wide open at night, this zaps every 30 mins or so. Good value for money.

If you are buying this to kill Blue Bottles or House Flies, don’t bother! It does not work. They will happily fly around it and totally ignore it. It may work on small gnats and midges outside, but of no use for anything else. I’m returning this product for a refund.

Our old traditional zapper would fry a bat. This is LED and far cheaper to run, left on 24/7, a lot of insects here. This zaps lots of smaller flies but should have perhaps gone for a larger model; doesn’t seem to get the bigger bluebottles

Brilliant at keeping bugs at bay

I used to suffer from an infestation of what might have been small flies or minuscule moths. A bit too big for midges. I had no idea where they came from. I tried insecticidal spray (Raid -food stuff) for a while, then I bought this ultra-violet zapper. That sorted the problem. Soon, I was sleeping through the flash and snap. I leave the lamp on permanently; its glow is a nice welcome to my bedroom. I finally worked out they were coming down the chimney, now curtained off. But they still invade the house whenever a door is open. Only one reservation - you must not stare directly at the glowing lamp.

War erst skeptisch ob das funktioniert aber es funktioniert richtig gut. Am 2 Tagen nachdem ich es eingeschaltet habe knallte es abends ziemlich oft. Morgens sah ich dan die ganzen Mücken drumherum auf der Komode tod liege. Man muss das Teil nur an die richtige Stelle stellen. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen in ein paar Wochen/ Monaten wird man es sehen.

Vanaf de eerste minuten dat deze Buzbug op zijn plaats stond liet het zijn aanwezigheid horen.Ieder insect dat er in terecht komt wordt met een stevige pets verdampt. Want veel blijft er zo te zien niet van over. Het lijkt er op dat de werking ‘‘s avonds in een donkere omgeving als het violette licht meer opvalt , beter is dan overdag. Hoe dan ook, sinds dat ding er staat hebben we geen vlieg meer gezien. Aanbevolen dus.

La lampara va muy bien, cumple perfectamente con sus especificaiones. Lo unico "malo" es que cada vez que agarra algun bicho suena a explosion, pero todas hacen lo msimo.
