Anker P40i, Adaptive Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds

If you want a set of earbuds with big bucks quality and big bucks bass but don't want to pay the big bucks then you will not go wrong with these set of earbuds from soundcore. The Soundcore p40i's come with noise cancelling as you would expect and the achieve this really really well. I had these in fast cycling on a cycle lane on a busy road and there was loads of traffic and I could not hear any of the traffic. Now for the astute amongst you, you're probably say not safe riding with noise cancelling but I was on a cycle path. if I wanted/need to be able to still hear around me it also has an ambience setting which means that you can hear what still going on around you and still enjoy the bass and and the the music that you're listening to admittedly not as clear as sharp because you've got background noise seeping in and creating that dirty sound. So what's good about them? Like I said before the sound quality is exceptional on these especially for the price. I listen to various genres from listening to classical music bolero right down to heavy deep house and garage music and everything was crystal clear that I was listening to. Whilst dealing with phone calls as well,especially, on the move I could hear the person on the other end crystal clear and they didn't even realize I was on earbuds when I asked them to give me feedback and tell me if the sound quality was good they were like yeah you're on your phone right and I was like no I'm on the earbuds. The person on the other end of the phone was very impressed. The build quality on these are way better than the P3's that I have uploaded from and the charging case has a really nice sort of rubbery feel to it. The case can also double up as a kickstand for your mobile phone. The earbuds as you would expect to be are ultra light this might actually be a little bit of a negative because they're that light you might not realize they've popped out of your ears until you've stopped hearing the sound. Connecting these to my phone via Bluetooth was an absolute breeze and I've tested the distance between my phone being sat indoors and me walking out in the garden and they do cover a large distance but remember that its going to be different for everyone's phone because of the way Bluetooth is on each person's phone. So if you're looking for quality and great sound without having to speak to your bank manager then I cannot recommend these highly enough, buy them you won't regret it.

Bought these having now lost 2 pairs of expensive earbuds (samsung galaxy pro and bose quiet comfort). These are functionally better and sound just as good. I really like the case with its phone holder which I had disregarded when considering these but has been useful from day 1. The noise cancellation is brilliant for cutting out background noise from people talking, but not so good for continuous 'white noise' like my lawn mower. Nice app, nice quality feel of the earbuds, and they fit nice. No complaints, and a fraction of the price I've paid before.

I've been used to Samsung Buds over past few years (and being very happy with them), but having lost them and not wanting to pay hundreds to potentially lose another pair plumped for a set of these p40i's. Straight off I'll say the ear tips that come with these as standard, for me, were terrible. Couldn't get them to seal properly and was constantly adjusting. I much prefer foam tips so went to order some, thinking nothing of it, but it turns out finding foam tips for these is a nightmare because of the odd oval shaped speaker shape. I did eventually manage to get a set of foam tips on with much faff and stretching, and have some actual specific ones on the way from China but felt it right to share my experiences so far. Once the foam tips were fitting it totally transformed the audio on these and I am very happy with them. Pros - incredible audio with really detailed soundstage and plenty of bass of needed (once fitted with some foam tips), plenty of room in the case for different types of tips, easy to remove the headphones from the case, I love the customisation of the touch controls that can vary from left to right so loads of on the go control, very comfortable and don't fall out at the gym, great battery life, price Vs bigger names, there is a live language translation function in the app that I haven't tried on the field yet but feel it could be a winner on my next holiday! Cons - terrible standard ear tips. Overall, despite my initial teething these are well worth the money and would definitely buy again.

I’m extremely happy with these earbuds. The sound quality is excellent ,clear vocals, deep bass, and a really balanced overall sound whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls. The noise cancellation works surprisingly well and blocks out background noise better than I expected at this price point. They’re also very comfortable to wear for long periods, and the battery life has been outstanding. Pairing was quick and easy, and the connection stays stable without random dropouts. For the price, these honestly feel like a much more expensive pair of earbuds. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality wireless earbuds with great sound and reliable performance.

Honestly ... ive never had a set of ear buds that were this comfy and this good with sound. Bass is great and so is my audio books! Noise cancelling is strange ... it definitly quietens everything but im not used to noise cancelling so dont take my word for it but I can defo say these are effing great! Case is designed lovely i ordered the purple. My phone connected to them so easily. Touch controls on the buds and they're not budging from my ears so defo great for exercise. Ive used them for around 3 hours and ive only lost about 7% of battery.

I bought these a year ago - still going strong - so much so I felt the need to come back and write this. For the price I paid these are a great all round package - NC isn't gold standard but you are not paying gold prices. It does the job and certainly takes the edge off my busy commute into London. I do not have to worry about losing or damaging them - the sound quality is perfectable adequate for the average Joe. I have owned very expensive earbuds in the past and were not worth it for me. Soundcore hit a good price/spec ratio. If you are looking for a decent budget option, I think Soundcore is a solid choice.

Wow! Although these are the top 'P' series headphones made by Anker, I was not expecting much for the price. However I was totally blown away by these. I got these to wear under my beanie hat during the cold weather dog walks as my over ear headphones were a bit too cumbersome. My usual daily headphones are the Sony WH-1000 XM4's, so when I purchased these I was not expecting anywhere near the sound quality the Sony's with them being (or used to be) one of the top rated sets of headphones along with the bose series. But boy was I wrong. In fact these are so good ill be using these daily now and confining the Sony's to a drawer. They fit great and don't fall out of the ear, the noise cancellation is phenomenal for in ear headphones, they connect seamlessly to any Bluetooth device (with a great easy to use well thought out app), they look great and charge quickly. Im unsure how long they will last but to be honest they are really well built and if they can manage a year they've easily paid for themselves. Don't hesitate to buy these if your budget allows; you will not be dissapointed.

Typical earbud design, nicely done. Comfortable and sound quality is good for the price. The associated app is good - customising the equalisation by a hearing test is nice and some of the features do improve sound quality a little. Not much bass but then they are only relatively cheap earbuds. Main disappointment is the noise cancelling. Initially didn't seem to work at all but AnkerDirect stepped in to help and have now got them set up well enough to get some effect. Nothing like you see with higher end earbuds (used to use QuietComfort but they died) but some effect. Beware that the tips themselves are thin and getting the right tip and fit makes a significant difference to sound quality and noise cancelling, naturally enough. With other buds I use the default "medium" tips. With these the medium tip felt fine and secure but the app's "Tip Fit Test" said they weren't sealing well enough. Had to go to the XL size and change the angle I wear them at to get a passing fit. With that the quality was much better and at least some sound cancelling effect. The Tip Fit Test is buried in the app settings menu instead of being on the main page or setup screens so easy to miss.

ANC feature is worst as if it does not exist.

I’m really happy with the Soundcore P40i. Pairing was quick and painless, and once it’s set up it connects to my phone immediately. Take it out of the case and it just works, no waiting, no fiddling. Sound quality is excellent for the size, clear and punchy, and more than good enough for music, podcasts, and calls. I also really like the magnetic snap when putting the earbuds back in the case, it feels solid and well-designed. They sit comfortably in my ears, even for longer listening sessions, and the included different ear tip sizes are a nice touch and make it easy to get a good fit. The touch controls are simple and responsive, skipping tracks works reliably without having to tap ten times. The only small downside is that it doesn’t support multi-device connectivity, so switching between devices isn’t seamless. That said, it’s a minor nitpick compared to how well everything else works. Overall, great value, reliable, comfortable, and very easy to use. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product. Sound quality is just unbelievable. App interface and options are beyond expectations. Multi device connectivity covers my phone and 2 laptops. 5 sizes for ear headsets got me covered with a perfect fit. Such a good buy
