Really fun and insightful
I used them during our Christmas family vacation, and it was a lot of fun. We know each other but still learned a lot about each other. I'll use it again as it is easy way to create a group activity.

Great for dinner time
I have loved The Adventure Challenge company for a long time. We have the scratch off date book, and have thoroughly enjoyed it, so grabbing this product was a no brainer. As a busy family of 5, we struggle with making time to slow down and really spend time with the family. This has become a staple for our suppers at the table. We try to sit down as a family 5 or so nights a week to eat. We grab one of these cards every time we sit down and use it as a conversation starter. These are only powerful if you put the time and conversation in. The questions themselves aren't magical. In fact you can look up a Pinterest list of similar questions, but it is convenient having them already printed. The questions are not your simply "how was you day" run of the mill questions, but unique thought provoking ones. I will say that young children will struggle with a lot of the questions. My only complaint is the price. These should not cost $24. They are the size of a deck of cards and of similar quality.

A fun family game that also facilitates communication
If you have kids, you may be familiar with the following scenario. Me: Hi, kiddo! How was your day? Kiddo: Good. Me: What'd you do in school today? Kiddo: Uhh... I can't remember. Me: (continues to ask pointed questions to get them talking...sometimes works, sometimes fails) It's a never-ending loop, right? Even when we do what we're supposed to do—ask specific questions that can't be answered with a yes/no—sometimes it's hard to get kids to engage in meaningful communication after a long day at school or play. As adults, we forget what it was like to be kids, and we don't always know the right questions to ask to grab their attention and spark good conversation. That's where the Adventure Challenge Connection Cards come in! I'd seen the Adventure Challenge books for date nights, etc, in the past, but before I saw these on Amazon, I had no idea they had card versions. I'm so glad I ordered these, because they've been a big hit in our house. Each card has a question that's meant to get families talking. Some questions may spark serious discussion; others might give you a chance to talk about each other's best qualities; and others can put you in a silly, laughing mood, which is always my favorite. When you want to have a good talk with your kiddo but don't have a topic in mind, these are the perfect tool to get the convo started. Bonus: these can translate easily to a game with friends or coworkers too! (Note: As a Vine Voice, I only request products my family and/or I will actually use. I give each product a fair shot before writing my review. As someone who always reads reviews before making a purchase, I truly value upfront, candid reviewers; therefore, all my reviews are honest and without bias.)

What should we talk about?
These cards are rather small. They are sturdy and made of great materials. That makes them excellent for on the go as well as little hands in the family. I find this deck to be enjoyable to have at the ready for conversation starters. I move them from my kitchen table to my car for the grandkids. They are unique and the answers are so enjoyable to hear. It’s a fantastic bonding experience. I find that each card is very thoughtful. Some are reminiscing while others are more of a ‘what if’ format. I did make sure to look through the whole deck before playing with my grandkids to make sure I was okay with all the questions first. I think that’s always a good idea these days.

Great way to learn about each other
We are a family that spans from 7 to 50 years old, and it was a great way to get to know a lot about each other. The questions are light and easily accessible to kids, but also can be interpreted in very deep ways for an adult family get-together. The price is pretty normal for a game, and the personal connection value is much higher than a normal game. I definitely recommend if you want to get closer to your family. I think most of these questions would adapt well to use as an ice-breaker, or team-building activity. I recommend.

Huge Hit!
I got these on a whim for my oldest grandson’s Easter basket and I am so happy I did. These have been a huge hit in our family. The kids have asked if we can play this “game” every night since the first night we’ve played and we’ve had so much fun working through them. My grandkids are 5 and 7 and while some of the cards might be a bit challenging or not fully understood, that’s what makes it fun. I can only imagine how their answers will change as they get older. We’ve had some wonderful and quality family time with this little deck of cards. The deck of cards is pretty small. Honestly, a bit smaller than I expected, but it’s really not an issue, just worth noting. I highly recommend this game!

Actual talking to each other?! Yes!!
This was an easy after dinner game I played with my elderly parents…. Just to get them to break up the same old boring conversations. They loved it. Highly recommend. Easy peasy. It just gets everyone talking!!!
