Boosted my milk supply better than anything else - but very bitter
Pros: Out of everything I've used to help me lactate, this by far helped the most to increase my milk production - but be aware: I ended up making so much milk that I easily can get engorged (after previously having supply issues), so taking sunflower lecithin in combination is a MUST. This may sound great at first, but overproducing can lead to blocked ducts, engorgement, mastitis, and eventually stop milk production if the milk can't get out. So use sunflower lecithin and massage to avoid that (it worked for me perfectly). The price is more affordable than other brands I've tried, which is why I switched to this one, then discovered it actually increased my milk supply better anyway, so stuck with it. Cons: The taste is VERY bitter It doesn't mix well into cold liquids (powdery and clumps in cold liquids), so warm liquid is needed to mix it better Overall: I would highly recommend this for lactation (if nothing else, it was THE item that saved my low milk supply), but ONLY in combination with sunflower lecithin, and I would suggest mixing it with a small amount of liquid and chase it with a large amount of something that tastes good and strong.

Great for boosting milk supply
The quality of their products are great I have multiple supplements from them. The taste does taste yeasty but it helps my milk supply extremely fast! I would recommend putting it in a protein shake or something

Good price, good flavor, fast delivery.
We do not use brewers' yeast straight. Rather, it is a component of our home-baked bread. This stems from a Medscape study from a few years back. The yeast is shelf-stable if kept dry. I might need months to use a bag and the powder stays fresh. The consistency is similar to but even "looser" than flour. Be careful because particles can fly for some distance. We had previously used a different brand of yeast and it left a bitter taste in the bread. This was not surprising because the yeast comes from cells that settle out or are filtered out after fermenting grain into alcoholic beverages. The yeast is "killed" during drying so that it does not begin fermenting foods or drinks. Many such beverages, such as beer, are intentionally bitter and so is the resulting yeast. Different vendors attempt to de-bitter the yeast and succeed to varying degrees. This vendor does a better job of de-bittering. Brewer's yeast delivers some vitamins resulting from fermentation which are otherwise scarce in the human diet along with other nutrients that were in the grain. During WWII, food rationing resulted in nutritional deficiencies. Brewer's yeast was turned into a dietary spread commonly consumed on toast. Australia called the spread "Vegemite" while the rest of the UK called it "Marmite". Both are the color and consistency of thick chocolate syrup but the taste is far different. Both products used a LOT of salt to cover the bitterness of the yeast. If anyone is interested, all of the large grocery chains carry small jars of Vegemite and one does not need a lot for trial. This yeast is de-bittered better than my previous brand and does make better bread. For some reason, that other brand reduced how well the bread rose. This yeast does not have that problem.

Bitter has hell.
Bitter has hell. The product is supposed to be debittered, false advertising.

Disgusting. Gimme 14.
Smells and tastes pretty awful, I won’t lie. I didn’t realize there was a scoop for a while since it sank into the bag, but once I found it dosing was super easy. Great value for money, 3 month supply and it makes it worth it when the supply goes up. Haven’t cooked or baked with it but my friend has and the muffins were surprisingly good, I just suffer through a glass of yeasty water, but it shows. Energy has been better since taking and made a noticeable boost for milk supply.

A good value bulk supplement
Large quantity = strong value 3 lbs (~90 servings) is much bigger than most brands Great if you: Bake often Use it daily in smoothies, oatmeal, or tea Debittered = much better taste Regular brewer’s yeast is notoriously harsh “Debittered” makes it: Mild Slightly nutty This is a big deal for consistency (many people quit using it due to taste)

Good quality and good taste
I use this brewers yeast to sprinkle on my pets food. They love the taste and won't eat their food without it now. Their fur coats are healthy and shiny!

bitter
This was supposed to have the bitterness removed. The bitterness is definitely apparent. The fine powder is difficult to work with, as it is easily blown around. I don't plan to order this again, but I will use what I have
