Happy with my purchase
I'm very pleased with the quality of the watch, it's great value for money. It's got way more features than I need. I love that you can customise the background and put your own photo there. Battery is long-lasting. I'd say the "light gold" finish is more silvery than goldy. The strap that comes with it is not a perfect fit for me personally. It's either a bit too loose or a bit too tight. I ordered some replacement straps though so it's fine.

Battery failed after first charge. Purchased from Gamerzhub
Purchased Mi Band 8 from Gamerzhub. Item just stopped working after first charge. The battery isn't working. When connected to charger battery shows 100% and when removed from charging it gets off. Looks like due to poor storage conditions the battery degraded. I couldn't checked it with 15 days return period as it was a gift. And didn't wanted to open the box. My bad. Now I am stuck with a faulty band.

Battery died in less than a year
I bought it 11 months ago... Now the battery is dead and does not last more than 12hours. I always bought this brand and never had this issue I'm very disappointed at it

Do not recommend - Brick danger
Turned into a brick - completely non responsive nor working - after 1 month. Its the second i Smart Band 8 that i use and have the same problem

Beautiful but (sadly!) not accurate
It’s very beautifully designed and has high quality looks, too. BUT: the heart rate is quite off (about 10-20 bpm higher) compared to costlier, more trusted fitness trackers (Apple watch or Fitbit Charge 5). It basically is just a OLED-display digital watch, sadly. That’s how I’m currently using it.

Does not pair with Samsung S22
Bought Xiaomi Mi Band 8 which advertised for Android phones. Received Mi 8 last week and had been unsucceessful pairing it with Mi Fitness app. The pairing attempts made have tried changing app to China region, restart Mi 8, reset to factory setting and all advises seen on youtube do not work. Totally frustrated and very cumbersome refund process.

Great smart watch at an incredible price
I owned the Mi Band 6 until the last band broke and decided to upgrade to the Band 8. The big factor that has always swung me towards the Mi Band is the battery life. The Mi Band 6 only needed to be charged every 8 days initially but it did get down to 4-5 days, still significantly better than the more expensive watches and it does do all the key things like fitness metrics, heart rate doing various activities plus alerts, SPO2 measurements, steps etc. The Mi Band 8 takes it further. Battery life supposedly up to 16 days. I haven't had it long enough to verify that yet.The sleep measurements are more thorough and now tell me where I stand in my age group. It also measures my breathing during sleep, something important to me at my age now as well as the usual Deep Sleep, REM and light sleep. And there are many other features too which I haven't tried out yet like answering my phone from my watch.The screen is very easy to read, lots of different watch faces. And the price is amazing. I am happy.
