LeDessin Metallic Gel Pens Assorted Colors 10-pc Set

colours are not that great

We are just starting to build our art supply and adult coloring book variety. When my adult daughters and I are drawing together, we fight over are these 10 metallic gel pens. They colors really shine. I just finished a picture . All done with the 10 metallic pens. I've gotten so many compliments. I'm getting ready to order another set or two to keep the peace. Oh, and this drawing craze has brought our family closer. Thank you

I absolutely love these pens. The colors are lovely, the ink goes on very smoothly and solidly, and they are lasting a long time. I will be ordering more because I REALLY enjoy using these pens. I especially like how quickly they dry so that I don't end up smudging stuff when I lose track of time and end up accidently resting my hand over previously painted bits. These are my #1 GO TO pens when I am trying to decide what colors to use. One of my full pages ended up looking rather like stained glass because I only used these metallic inks = a nice effect. Another nice effect is to use them to highlight something in repetitive designs.

Received these today, opened and used only hours later.The good: these are smooth, non-skipping gel pens. The ink colors are vivid.The bad: pens have had about a 1/3 of the ink "evaporate?", I don't know if that's what has occurred, but disappointing regardless. In my opinion, only three colors are actually metallic-pink, gold, and silver. The silver...I want a whole box of just this one ink pen. I do LOURVE it! The pink is metallic because of a heavy mix-in of silver ink. I do admit, under the perfect light, all the colors shimmer, just not in the normal non-spotlight world. Black is NOT black, at best charcoal grey. Orange, poor orange! Not very orange but more burnt orange verging on copper. Also disappointing to find after the ink dries, it isn't very opaque. I found myself adding color three or four times for full coverage. A link is posted on the back of the label for bonus content, "The Basics of Doodles". Sadly, the link is a fatal error. I purchased two packs, one for me and one for my daughter. Both sets have varying amounts of missing ink. Photos of missing ink, color swatches, and a simple page colored with only these pens will be posted, ASAP.I'm sad. I ALWAYS want to love a new product and leave rave reviews. This time, I can barely justify a second star. 😔

I am so pleased with these metallic gel pens that I ordered another set for my son who also colors in adult coloring books. These metallic pens are the best I have ever used or owned. The lay down is smooth, thick and beautiful. I use them on every picture I color and I have not had a single skip out of any of the ten pens. The ink dries quickly and leaves a beautiful sheen. Since the ink is thicker than it is thin, coverage is easy to accomplish. If I could give them more stars, I would. I am very particular about pens that I will use, and these are the BEST! If you are into coloring or just writing with fun pens, get yourself a set of these LeDessin Metallic Gel Pens. You will not regret it.

These are a must have for everyone, kids, adults, teachers, college students, anyone who enjoys the perfect pen for the project your doing. I started with the glitter pens, then found the metallic ones. They are the smoothest writing, coloring gel I have ever used. I had 3 other sets from other makers that found a new home in the trash. I have now bought a second set and will continue to only buy this product. I would like to add for those who don't know the word dessin is French for drawing. The perfect name for these pens..And these pens are made for that. For all you to know I understand this company is working on a neon, and pastel set, and a silver. Wow who would need more than that. Thank you for the best gel pens I have ever used. So if your buying one set buy two you won't be disappointed!!!!!! Waiting for the new pens to hit the market!!!!

These are great, smooth color with no excess ink will make these last a little longer than other brands. I've been doodling and coloring for years for anxiety relief and meditation so have tried a ton of products. I'll be buying these again and would recommend them highly!

Be careful with metalics; use sparenly. Colors are good. Easy to use in small areas; try them out on a side-sheet before using on good work. Sometimes they are a different color than it would appear.

I only discovered adult coloring books about six weeks ago. What a wonderful past time they are! As ever, I go completely overboard embracing a new hobby, so I ordered pens galore. I really like the glittery and metallic pens - it makes the images so bright. Gives your pictures a true "wow" factor. So I am quite pleased with these pens. Colors are great, application is super smooth.

I bought a set for my daughter in law and a set for me. They are really wonderful pens and I would recommend these pens for adult coloring books and also scrapbooking/card making. The metallic look is really nice. Great pens and I will purchase again.I also liked the company sent me an email to check on the product and if they met my expectations.....they did. I like this extra step by company.

Although I really like these gel opens, they don't give the color I thought I'd be getting. They're subtle tones only and you have to move the paper around to see the metallics. Not made for all paper types.

This package of pens have clearly been used! Ink levels are down to ⅔ with scratches and other signs of use on the caps. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until it was too late to return, because I gave them as a gift without inspecting first, to an inexperienced colorist who didn't notice right away. So disappointing, and embarrassing!

Pens were purchased for the red and green colors. Tips are fine, as in a writing pen. I have found skipping to be an issue and pressure needed to get gel to flow. Would be nice for signing greeting cards or for some .3 mm line work in zentangling; however can't be used to fill in spaces, despite some comments in other reviews.

If any pen starts to skip give it a few shakes and warm the pen up by rubbing between your hands it always works for me. Like anything the ink in the pens are sensitive to the heat , cold and humidity .However I did not have to do anything to theses pens."
