I’ve installed several cameras on two different RVs over the years, always searching for the best image quality—especially at night. After trying many options, I can honestly say this camera delivers the best image I’ve ever seen, even in low-light conditions. The clarity during the day is excellent, and the night performance is outstanding. The connection is also very strong and stable, which is extremely important for RV use. Installation was straightforward, and the reliability has been great so far. After a long search and multiple camera setups on my RVs, I’m very pleased with this purchase. My search for the perfect RV camera has finally ended.

After doing hours of research and reading/watching YouTube videos I selected Haloview over Furrion. I’m very pleased that I went with Haloview. The functionality, screen clarity and brightness is a thousand times better than the Furrion. My Jayco travel trailer came setup for Furrion so there was a dedicated power line for the camera already there. Haloview came with a Furrion power adapter so no splicing was necessary. I removed the four screws from the Furrion camera bracket which you have to remove as well. I will note the I reused the screws as they were black and matched the Haloview bracket/camera much better than the supplied stainless steel screws. The installation was very easy, it took more time prepping the area than the actual camera install. The camera and monitor were already paired at the factory but I checked just to confirm. If you’re on the fence about which camera to choose as I was go with Haloview and you will not be disappointed. Also, did I mention that you can record with the Haloview you just have to purchase a memory card.

I replaced a Voyager WiSight 2.0 camera and monitor (on an Airstream trailer) with this package. When replacing the camera it wasn't easy to access the existing wiring in the wall, so I just cut both leads and used these connectors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071R2J7JP (waterproof and no stripping) to splice the BTC128 camera onto the power wires. I also used my own stainless #8x1/2" screws since I wasn't sure the screws that came with the camera were stainless (they didn't exactly ignore a magnet). I haven't had a chance to tow the trailer with it yet, but it's clear the resolution is better (for Voyager owners with pre WiSight 2.0 cameras it will be a lot better). I'm a little concerned though, that the field of view may not show as much of the area immediately behind the trailer (with the camera aimed as low as it would go) as I had with the Voyager. Will try to remember to update after a few tows. Characteristics of the BT7 monitor that could be better: 1) It doesn't remember the last on/off state, and also doesn't have a setting to control the default startup on/off state. I don't remove the monitor when not towing, and would rather not have the display on and constantly telling me "no signal" when I'm not towing. 2) If trying to windshield mount the monitor close to the roof (to not block your field of view above the dash) the antenna mounts on top and antennas that waste a good inch of length before the folding joint -- don't exactly make it easy. It would have been better if the antenna connections were located on the sides (near the top) so the antennas could simply be folded down (vertically) and not occupy any space (period) between the top of the monitor and the roof. As something of a work-around I picked up some SMA adapters (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJJ7BM7C) that have some short right-angle connectors and allow the monitor to be mounted much closer to the roof line. Overall, the BT7 monitor seems well built (a bit better than the Voyager monitor it replaces). The reception seems as good or better than the Voyager. The BT7 does have the "dash cam" recording capability (which the Voyager didn't have), and the windshield mount seems to have a much better grip on the glass than Voyager's did. Also, being able to pair and easily switch to a 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th) camera adds considerable value (e.g. the battery powered BTC126 with magnet mounts).

For an average RV guy this was an easy install, and it connected right up and we were able to see and use it right away. My only difficulty has been trying to decide how and where to mount the monitor. There are options but one is permanent and the other is to mount to the rear-view mirror temporarily with rubber straps. Really like that I can add more cameras, and they connect for viewing right away. The picture is crystal clear and the sound comes through well even at conversational level. No need to shout. It is also easy to use from inside the RV if you choose to surveil the campsite area. Highly recommend this product and the seller.

Must have on your RV. I installed the Haloview BT7 Backup Camera and the BTC129 RV Side Marker Cameras. I also installed an additional camera on the top Left front of my camper just above the running light (this camera paid for itself not only as a security camera but when I was caught in a traffic jam behind a Semi, I could see around the big truck.) . The 7" Haloview screen gave me excellent and clear vision from all the cameras. The backup camera was the most impressive with a clear field of vision of the rear of the RV, left to right and AFT. I was able to see vehicles behind me clearly which allowed me to change lanes without guessing if I had enough room to change lanes. The BTC 129 side cameras paid for themselves when I was trying to pull away from the gas pumps. The problem that I faced was not being able to see how much room I had between my camper and the gas pump island when my truck was turning out of the gas station. I simply turned on the side camera and I could see how much room I have. I built a RV security system with my Haloview system. I bought a connector outlet and wired the camper so I was able to plug into the camper battery. I placed a switch inside the camper so I was able to turn on the camper lights/cameras from inside the camper. I almost have a 360 degree view around my camper. I have a security camera view is from the safety and comfort inside my camper. The total upgrade was well worth it money and the effort.

Great video quality and overall it works well. The picture is clear, the system is easy to use, and it does what it’s supposed to do. The only downside I’ve noticed is some lag in areas with poor phone reception, though I’m not completely sure if the two are related. Other than that, it’s been a solid backup camera system.

The camera mounted easily to the rear of my "Furrion camera prepped" RV though I did have to cut off the supplied camera power plug as it was not the correct one to mount to the RV plug. I just soldered the power wires. I also ordered the extension antenna but was pleasantly surprised when the camera connected without using it! I have an Imagine XLS 23LDE RV towed with a Ford F-150. This is a 28 foot RV so the distance from the camera to the receiver is close to 40 feet. A 500 mile camping trip proved it would remain solidly connected without the extension antenna. VERY clear image and I mostly used it to see what was behind the RV while changing lanes. Though it did help backing the RV up, It could use a wider angle lense to be able to see right behind the RV better. Supports up to 4 cameras.

So far we are very pleased with the Haloview BT7 after 4 months and 3 trips. I purchased two less expensive rearview systems for our travel trailer and they did not last or had intermittent issues. The Haloview has a very clear picture and minimal lag time compared to previous cameras. The quality of the monitor is obvious, compared to the cheap plastic previous cameras. We tried the microphone but will prefer cell phones for backing up TT communications. So far the communication has been flawless on our 26'TT.
