With help from fellow Go-Go Charlotte Caffey, producer Michael Lloyd and guest musicians Duran Duran’s Andy Taylor, Susanna Hoffs and Jane Wiedlin, “Belinda” was Belinda Carlisle’s first solo album, originally issued in 1986. Featuring the hit singles “Mad About You”, and “I Feel The Magic”, this expanded edition also includes three mixes of Belinda’s version of “Band Of Gold” recorded with Freda Payne. The DVD features the two promo videos and, for the first time since 1986, “Belinda”, a 45 minute concert programme with some interview material. The book includes the lyrics and new annotation based on a 2014 interview with Belinda.

Belinda Carlisle 35th anniversary Limited Edition Pink LP
Well, firstly I love Belinda Carlisle, I have the original LP release in 1986 ( US and Japanese press), so when Demon Records reissue this album, I'm so happy getting pre-ordered. Upon receiving, unfortunately the LP is defective is warped..both of the LPs!. I'm so frustrated, and disappointed with the quality control of the LP.I'm also asked one of my best friend who purchased the same LP having the same quality (warped) as me. Fortunately his copy was ok. I emailed to the customer service on Amazon.uk and told about my defective copy of the LP.Amazon UK gladly replace my defective copy with the new copy. It took approximately 6 to 7 days to reach from UK to Malaysia,Thank God the 2nd copy is great. So now I haved 2 copy of the same LP 1 is defective, 1 is great condition!.. Amazon UK told me I can keep the defective LP. Thank you Amazon UK🇬🇧🇲🇾. The quality pressing of this LP is great, sound quality is excellent. Definitely the pressing using the Remastered version of the album!..5 Stars!..⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A hidden gem, full of jingly, feel good pop music !
If any Belinda Carlisle fans don't already own this, then they definitely should. In the U.K., Belinda really broke through with the likes of Heaven Is A Place On Earth but this earlier effort is brimful of very catchy, jingly, feel good songs - the quality of songwriting is very high though it maybe tails off a tad towards the end of the album. Now this album has been digitally remastered, it sounds even better than before !

One Excellent album!
A great early album of Belinda Carlisle, very catchy, with "Mad about you" song being the inspiration to purchase this album. Its certainly different from Belinda Carlisles later stuff, but that's what makes it unique. A great purchase for any Belinda Carlisle fan, or any 80's music enthusiast (like myself!).

At last Belinda fans receive what they deserve thanks to Edsel records. I'm so happy with these reissues but as a well known of her repertoire, I still miss a cd of demos and rarities.
