Good buy
I have vegans in my family and they are able to enjoy tuna salad, and tuna casserole . As a meat eater it is a slight taste I don't really care for,but with added seasoning it makes it taste better. The texture is very similar to tuna. I will continue to buy it

Close taste; matching texture
As an ethical vegetarian (then vegan) for the past umpteen years, I missed the tuna sandwiches of my youth. But then along came unMEAT's PB (not peanut butter, but plant-based) tuna, and my tuna taste buds were satiated. I get the tuna flakes in cans of water, but the oil version may be just as yummy. Try both and find out!

Delish! Great in โtunaโ salad
I have been vegetarian for almost 20 years and do not remember having tuna before that. However, I was interested in trying this to make faux tuna salad. It turned out GREAT! Texture is nice. It is pre-salted so be weary of that if you are avoiding salt or using this in a recipe.

Yummy but definitely not tuna
I didnโt expect this to taste like tuna and it doesnโt. Perhaps Iโll try some nori seasoning another time. But I made it just like I would chicken salad for sandwiches and it really was delicious. I do have some suggestions. Drain the liquid really well or it will be soupy. Also Do Not use the opening tab. It doesnโt work and youโll get upset and eventually youโll have to use a can opener anyway. I highly recommend the product but definitely they need to change the opening tab. Perhaps then I give it โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

Ultra Dolphin Safe!
...Unless, of course, the production or packaging of these somehow dumps something in the oceans. Which I doubt. This product can be used anywhere tuna can... salads, casseroles, etc. I mixed a can with some frozen veggies and rice and it added some much needed protein and tasted great. Heating it didn't make the microwave smell like fish, and it didn't have a fishy aftertaste. In fact, for taste and texture, I would put it somewhere between tuna and canned shredded chicken, leaning toward tuna. But most vegan meat is like that IMHO. I was reluctant to try it, since I couldn't order a single can, but I'm glad that I did. The cans are a little difficult to open, but not terribly so.I get asked all the time what I miss most not eating meat. My answer is being able to go into any eating establishment and being able to find something that I can eat. But I do eat dairy and eggs, so if they have breakfast all day, my go-to is a cheese omelette. For home use, I actually like this better than real tuna. And don't forget. Like REO Speedwagon said, "You Can Tune a Piano, But You Can't Tuna Fish." (I think it's because it's too hard to play the scales.)

The taste is acceptable and killing is not involved
Iโm trying to eat asMuch plant based food asPossible. Itโs not as good as real tuna, but no one is killed in the process. I find this with all plant based foods and it is an accepted alternative. I would recommend this

So happy to find this
I bought a can of this months ago but can't remember where I got it. So happy to find it on Amazon. I like that it comes in water, not oil. No, it doesn't taste just like tuna but as a vegetarian, I love when I find a sandwich or snack spread. I make it like tuna but without mayo. I use Greek yogurt and different veggies; onions, bell peppers, celery. It's great!
