Fantastic and Sturdy
This backpack honestly surprised me in the best way. I took it out on a long day hike expecting it to feel bulky or awkward, but itโs super lightweight and sits comfortably on the back even when fully loaded. The straps are padded just enough to feel supportive without digging in, and the airflow on the back panel actually helps more than I thought it would (no sweaty back situation, which is rare). Storage-wise, itโs well thought out. I could fit water, snacks, a light jacket, and a few small essentials without everything turning into a chaotic pile. The side pockets held my bottle securely, even when I was moving over uneven terrain. Zippers feel sturdy and havenโt snagged so far, which gives me confidence itโll hold up over time. What I really liked is that it doesnโt feel overdesignedโitโs simple, practical, and easy to use right away without needing a โlearning curve.โ For the price point, it feels like solid quality rather than something disposable. Iโve used it for both short hikes and a longer 6โ7 hour trail day, and it performed consistently well. If anything changes with durability over time, Iโll update, but right now Iโm genuinely impressed. Would definitely recommend for casual hikers or anyone needing a reliable daypack that just works.

Lightweight (13 ounces)
Outside the main pocket, it has just the two side mesh pockets, good for water bottles if the pack isn't too full. The top of each of those is not as elastic as on most backpacks, so if the pack is full, the side pockets can't open enough to fit a water bottle. Inside the main pocket, there is a nice zipped inner pouch (about 8.5 in by 7.5 in by thin). On the opposite side is an open top pouch, which I think is useless. Things never stay in those. It was just $13.99 when I bought, which helped justify 5-star. The strap size and position makes it too small to adjust for me (I'm 240Lbs and 5 ft 9). But we bought it for my wife and it seems to fit her. It seems OK; she hasn't really used it yet. I don't know how much competing products lie about capacity. The 35L claim is way off. I arranged five boxes 9x4.75x4.25 plus two 9x4.75x2. That firmly filled it all around at 17.7L. Less rectangular contents that perfectly reshape the bag to the max volume probably only would add 10%. Computed another way: the circumference at the widest point is under 35 inch while the height is under 20. A cylinder 35 in circumference and 20 high would be under 32L. That ignores the fact that most of the height has significantly under 35 in circumference. The adjustable chest strap (height as well as width) is a nice feature. The two plastic D rings (where one might hang a small front pack for best balance of the load on a long hike) are a nice detail, as are the connection points on the back for carrying things outside the pack.

Hard to fold into pouch.
Backpack is good sewn quality for such a lightweight pack. It is small enough for water, personal items, change of clothes or towel for beach or pool or day trip. The pictures show how to fold and put into self contained pouch. Danged if could figure it out from the incomplete picture steps. Maybe a pack down video would be better than just a sales video of pack features. I like it and now wife wants one.

Excellent small backpack!
I love this backpack! Itโs the perfect size for a day out hiking or any other multi-hour outing. It can hold water, snacks, a swimsuit or change of clothes, etc without being too bulky. I like the adjustable straps on the side so you can compress or enlarge it. Iโve used it for 6 months & itโs held up well so far. The ONLY thing I would change is that I wish the outside mesh pockets were taller.

Perfect! Black 35L bulk
I am the President of a homeless ministry. Every two months we buy backpacks and stuff them w food and supplies to be distributed to those living on our streets. We buy the best we can afford and try not to skimp on durability, storage space, water resistance, and overall quality. They generally already have old, broken down backpacks that are falling apart. Our goal is to give them a backpack that will see them through rough weather, being overstuffed, and still remain looking nice and fresh. These backpacks do all that. To see the looks on their faces when handed the backpacks is a blessing in itself. And this is before seeing the food and supplies inside! My organization has bought these backpacks several times and we serve approx. 160-200 homeless men and women each distribution day. These backpacks are top of the line and we are proud to hand them out.

Good Storage but cheaply made
It works ok for a child to use for hiking. It has quite a bit of storage. My main complaint is that the straps do not stay put, the buckles loosen constantly and makes it hard for the child to carry. Will try to think of a way to fix it on my own.

Lightweight and versatile
This backpack is lightweight, and the adjustable straps and buckles allow the backpack to fit my body comfortably. The inside zippered pocket is the perfect size for carrying valuables. The reflective straps, water-resistant material, and emergency whistle are great for outdoor recreation. As a hiker/walker, I plan to pack fluids in the outer mesh pockets and snacks in the inside pockets for short trips. Once the items are consumed, the backpack can be folded up. Another use is to carry a change of clothes for long-distance walking. When traveling by air, I plan to pack the folded backpack in my luggage and then expand it for carry-on use when returning home. The lightweight and versatility of this product make it worthy of a five-star rating.

Hard on the shoulders, but lightweight and packable
This backpack is definitely lightweight and packable like it says. I took it on a trip for my carry-on, and I didn't have heavy items in it, mostly clothing. My shoulders hurt really bad walking around during my layover as the straps are so thin. I would have to buy padded straps for it to use it again. Would be good for the gym or something when you don't have to have it on for longer periods.
