Written clearly and aimed at beginners. Anyone would probably like it. But it's great for beginners. I have an aspiring carpenter in my home. He is super excited to start building the projects in this book. There is a lot of useful information and ideas with instructions. It is easy to read and understand. Review: Clear and precise instructions - These projects are amazing! I love all of the ideas, and the way they are broken down into materials and steps really make it user friendly for the beginner home DIYer! I haven't done any wood working since I was in high school (about 30 years ago!), and I felt like I was right back in wood shop with my teacher walking me through the project steps! I have so many different hobbies that I like to do around the house that I enjoy being able to finish something up in a weekend or so and be able to move on to the next thing. These projects are just the right size!

Good for ideas and planning
Ultimately, there's nothing revolutionary here, but it does give a good starting place when thinking about what kinds of projects to get started on. That said, there are some drawbacks. Pros: - There are clear lists for the materials needed for each project. (There is not a clear list of tools needed, these are buried within the text). - Most projects seem to give enough detail to complete the projects, though there may be some isolated cases where more research is needed. - This has been a good "starter" for me as far as ideas go. Cons: - This is a book aimed at beginners, but some of the projects require several different tools. One I'm considering requires a miter saw, circular saw or table saw, a drywall saw, a brad nailer (optional, but recommended), and a router. I imagine most beginners may not have all of those tools, so what should be a simple and easy project will require lots of $$$. - Some of the projects require store-bought, pre-made items. For example, the closet build recommends purchasing a bi-fold door from a home store. My personal preference would be projects that are entirely self-reliant. Some of the projects included: - Benches, chairs, and stools - Shelving for walls, above doors, etc. - Organizational ideas, such as a wall niche or a closet. - Planters, trellises, and window boxes

A good book with great projects, great instructions, and great photos. Every project has a “parts” list and there are even ideas and alternatives with directions! Worth every penny!

The book gives you lots of easy projects and is very clear with the instructions and language is easy to understand. For a beginner or somewhat confident router person, It may be too basic for very experienced router folk , but its a fabulous book , for the easier projects , great for router enthusiasts.

This is a fun little book full of interesting projects. I can't wait for spring to come so that I can get out into my garage and put some of these project plans to good use.
