Superb Camera
I am quite impressed with this little, rugged camera. It is full of features and quite hardy in construction. While it has taken me a little time to familiarize myself with the operation, the time has been well spent and the result is a folder full of high quality pictures in all kinds of lighting. I have used the remote control, downloaded pictures, taken selfies and used flash and no flash. The camera has performed admirably well and provided me with HIGHLY detailed photos with great color saturation. ... The Only feature I do not like is the facial recognition which allows our rotten government agencies to identify and track us. I must find a way to stop that. I advise you to do the very same when you get this camera. I got the beautiful blue version of this camera but it cost me an extra 10 or 20 dollars.... Later I bought a carrying case for the camera which carries my camera and the charging cable... It came with a 16 Gb SDHC Class 10 card and the Fujifilm Li-On battery which serves to recharge with the aforementioned cable. In short, it is a useful camera and provides high contrast photos with exceptional clarity and great deep coloration. Every parameter can be modified to whatever suits you with the detailed manual that is provided as you scroll through one field after another using the menu.

Took great pictures on my white water rafting trip
This camera made my 6 day rafting trip down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon a great memory. It served me well, getting soaking wet in the rapids and took great still pictures and video. I bought 2 spare batteries and extra memory cards, but I should have bought more batteries. I was out on the river for 6 days without a way to recharge, but I had lots of storage space left over. I should have bought 5 extra batteries to be on the safe side, and used a fresh one each day. But the camera itself was great and I would recommend it highly.

Great Camera for Rafting
I bought this little camera to take with me on rafting trips. Specifically a week long trip through Desolation/Gray Canyon in Utah. It was important that it be waterproof, shock resistant, and inexpensive (don't wan't to lose a $1000 camera in the river). This camera does it all great! The camera is definitely waterproof. We had the camera submerged several times along the trip, and even got some good underwater pics in a clear spring we were passing. Unfortunately, the Green River was pretty murky, so the spring was the only good place for underwater pics. The camera is definitely shock resistant. It survived an eleven year old girl in her kayak going through rapids. I cringed a bit watching the camera bounce around as she paddled, but it handled the abuse fine. The only damage the camera took on the trip was a bit of sandblasting of some of the paint. Functionally the camera is great! The pictures are great, but it takes some time to learn how to get great pictures. I spent several nights out on the beach messing with the different settings, and trying to find what works best. Everything from Macro pictures to beautiful night sky pictures to active sport pictures. There are a couple of things that kept me from giving this camera the full five stars. First, battery life. You really need extra batteries, and some kind of power pack charger. I brought a solar charger on my trip and 5 batteries. Second, screen. The screen is not a good representation at all of what your picture really looks like. I took several pictures I thought were terrible on the screen, but looked great on my PC. Third, ease of use. True it is a point and click camera. The camera automatically chooses the best setting for the picture you're taking. It's great in theory, but it takes some practice to get the auto feature to take pictures how you want them. I highly recommend trying out each setting manually, and then learning how to make the camera take those shots on auto. It's a great camera. I love it. I'm very happy I bought it, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great Fun Camera! Love the XP130.
Obviously this is not a pro photography camera. But, it is a wonderful "Street Camera, all-weather and dive camera." I always have this camera with me, even when I am carrying my professional gear. I live in North Idaho. We have a lot of rain and snow. A lot of my work is Street Photography. It is great for close work in crowds. I used to own the Fuji XP90. Currently I have the XP120 and now the XP130. My grandchildren love the XP120. It is pretty much child proof and a great kids learning camera. If you want better photos, my recommendation is to "Tweak" the camera. Most all the consumer cameras can be tweaked. This is how to tweak the XP130. Select "SHOOTING MODE and choose the "P" PROGRAM AE mode. Scroll down to "ISO" and choose AUTO 400. Images tend to fall apart over ISO 400. IMAGE SIZE: 4.3. Select IMAGE QUALITY: FINE. Last choose FinePixCOLOR: CHROME. Normal camera settings produce an image file size from 1.50MB to 3MB. By tweaking the camera the file size will increase up to 8MB. If you just want to shoot nice photos the "SCENE RECOGNITON" is hard to beat. Cons: Camera needs good lighting for sharp images. (Most cameras do) Zoom sometimes is blurred when extended. Make sure you have the STABILIZATION SETTING enabled. Focus is sometimes spotty. Play with the AF MODE and see which setting works best for you. Some are better than others depending what you are shooting. Attached are some quick photos I took. It is a fun camera to play with. The XP130 has many fun settings to experiment with and explore. Just have fun, learn the camera and enjoy.

It will FLOOD eventually even with great care.
Taking great care to be sure the seal was clean, free of debris and the latch properly locked it worked fine for the half dozen times I used it. Took ok pics and video snorkeling a reef off Puerto Morales and some fun pool pictures. That was it as it just flooded in Mexico yesterday. Fortunately I had off loaded all my images and videos after each use but also kept them in the 128GB card for easy reviewing. The 3 year warranty extension has expired. Limited Use - Limited life. Maybe they should include two door seals but mine was never abused. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Buy a cheap disposable instead.

The best little waterproof camera
This camera is excellent! I bought it to take on a research trip to Ecuador. I was climbing trees in the Amazon, climbing volcanoes, and swimming in black lake lagoons... this camera handled it all. I recommend taking an extra battery on long trips but it easily stays charged for a couple days of moderate to heavy use. You can get really good photos if you tweak with the settings and use it well. Many people had cameras twice the price or more on the trip and my camera serviced me just as well AND was completely water proof. Takes really good macro shots surprisingly (I was photographing lots of insects and the detail I could obtain was amazing). One of my all time favorite purchases. Really amazing value for the cost.

GREAT Camera!!!!
FIRST - I know Amazon reduces the quality of the videos that are posted, this camera takes FANTASTIC videos above and below water. We spent a week in Jamaica and a lot of time on the reefs there, this camera is amazing. I gave 4 stars for easy to use simply because you really need to play with the wireless transfer capabilities of this camera to understand them. They're not hard to understand but being familiar with them before you're on a boat will help. That said, I took videos and photos in the ocean and had them transfered to my iPhone before we were back to port. This is a great camera for those not wanting to spend a ton on one.

My go-to for work-related pictures, but is it good for you?
1/15/21 UPDATE: Multiple drops on concrete flooring, and its still working well. Drenched in water, oil, grease and dust. It has been very durable in my factory environment! The camera's loop for the carry cord broke off on one of the times it was dropped on the floor. Minor inconvenience, oh well. Raising review score from 4 to 5. Its been worth the price, and then some. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this to replace a XP90 that was dropped on concrete flooring one to many times. That camera held up to some serious abuse, so I bought an updated version of it. This one has been okay so far, but right off the bat a few things broke that I never had a problem with on the XP90. The string carry cord pretty much snapped the first time I used it. I transferred the one I had on the XP90 to this camera. The lens trim ring popped off the front of the camera within the first couple weeks of use. No drops or rough handling. I superglued it back on, but it was a little concerning to be honest. For my needs, the camera still works well for taking pictures at work, and it WILL eventually be destroyed. So as long as it functions, the problems I listed aren't a huge deal breaker to me. But this might be something you should take in consideration if this is for personal use. I'd be a lot more annoyed for this to happen on a vacation getaway.

Great alternative to gopro
Perfect and practical for kids and an ideal companion to our family advent, where you don't want to risk you phone getting damaged. Great service too.

100% recomendada

Holds up well in a factory setting.
It works great and has a nice clear pic. We use it at qork in a greasy, wet environment and it holds up well. This is the 3rd one we have bought cause it works so well over the years. Only reason for new ones was due to our care and dropping it. And we dropped them a lot. And it held up for years before needing replacing.

Great Camera
I've owned an XP since 2011 and I've used it for a light weight go anywhere camera until it finally started wearing out and the zoom wasn't functioning as well in 2021. I bought this camera to replace it and it hasn't disappointed me. I use it to take pictures at work and am often in wet conditions. I am a bit disappointed with the optics as I think my original XP actually gave me a slightly clearer image. However, if this one lasts as long and is as robust as my original XP I expect it will be a very good camera for what I use it for.

Lasted 8weeks, don't use FZ Trading
My camera broke after 8 weeks of using. One day it stopped working whilst using it. I assumed the battery had ran out. When I got it home I opened the battery cover and went to charge it but it was flooded with water. I contacted FZ Trading and explained what had happened. 2 weeks later their courier finally arrived to collect it and a further 4 weeks after that they got back to me and said the camera was damaged due to water being inside and there was nothing they could do. The said I must have opened the battery cover whilst using in water and it was my fault. The battery cover was closed and sealed but somehow water got inside and the camera is ruined. 650aed for 8 weeks of use. I would recommend using an alternative supplier as FZ Trading are unwilling to replace, exchange or refund this faulty item.
