Awesome tunable starter drum
I normally play the 18 inch bodhran, but I bought this 16 incher for my wife (who is about 5 feet tall) and she still prefers the larger framed drum (18 inches). So I've been playing this one and I love it! It's a very fast, easy to control drum, and being tunable, extremely versatile. I will continue to buy these roosebecks, I now own two!

Love it
As a first time Bodhran buyer, i was very concerned in which to choose from. Very pleased with my gift purchase! The sound is great and i love the detachable t-bar! I think it is a great starter drum. The packaging was well done and it was delivered right on time. Very pleased.

nice sound
got this for my wife to learn. I play the GHP, but this will be for when I play my scottish smallpipes. Just looking to have a little fun and I think this will be just fine

Very nice
Well made, quality hardware and finishes, head is nicely prepared and consistent. Tipper is a little heavy but quality is excellent. 18" is on the big side for medium or small adults so be sure you are ready for it. Get a good case as this drum deserves the protection. BTW a good case is always a requirement for any decent instrument.. I read reviews about how expensive they are blah blah blah blah, then other reviews about how they chose a thin cheap case for low money and they whine about quality. Guess what? A quality case can be pricey, duh. I like this drum, and I bought a nice case that'll keep it safe for decades. Happy!
