Consider this system before spending more for less
I researched for a couple of weeks before picking this Boss Elite system and I am very pleased with it. Less expensive than the big name systems and has all the best features. I did have it professionally installed and bought a steering wheel module to keep my SW controls. The backup camera is quite good. Easy to set up my CarPlay via Bluetooth. Radio tuner and on board EQ are easy to use as well. Overall, a great radio and a great value!

Great for the money
I’m finding this purchase very satisfying. The quality is on par for the price point. Very easy to install and navigate. Everything seems to work as it should. Bluetooth connects quick and the calls sound good. Others say they can hear me fine while on a call without any noise issues. Picture seems to be what you would expect for the cost. I wish it were possible to adjust sound volumes separately. When using the gps, you need to have the volume extra high, which is too loud for normal music level. Can’t win them all. I’d buy again and recommend.

So far so good; only issue is with multiple connected devices
We installed in a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo and hooked up the GPS, Microphone, Backup Camera, and an auxilary USB/Aux port. See the related installed and before pics. The wireless functionality of the unit works great. My daughter loves it. The touch screen also works great. We replaced the speakers at the same time (with Boss 4" and 5.25" speakers) and the sound is actually surprisingly good. The reason for 4 stars is that if there are multiple phones in the car that have been wirelessly connected, the head unit can not seem to keep things sorted and locks up completely. Perhaps there will be an update to fix it. We bought the mounting bracket and USB/Aux jack separately.

It's cheap for alot of reasons.
Not satisfied with this unit at all. The main problem is the screen. Straight off, it's just not a good quality screen, resolution, clarity etc are mid level at best. Next, the dimming function does not work. This is on a 2000 F250. I contacted Boss, but their service was poor. They never seemed to be reading what I had written. When I'd turn on my lights, the screen should dim. However, instead, it would flicker bright to dim, non stop. Boss blamed multiple reasons, but offered no solution. So I had to disable the dimming function. That means that it's way to bright at night, or too dim in the day, so you have to manually adjust it all the time. Even on dim, the screen is too bright at night, due to poor contrast. Also, despite what Boss tried to tell me, there's no way to turn the screen off without turning off the radio all together. On top of that issue, the volume control buttons are poor and the visibility with the included camera is not good at all.

Great new navigation system and rear camera
Works great so far. I had it professionally installed. The camera part is adjustable. So far no issues. Will keep everyone posted after year.

Pretty darn good for the price
Have had it since December, works pretty darn good, I even figured out a way to get NON-factory aftermarket steering wheel controls to work with it. Very simple and straightforward install, spliced into my 2009 Town & Country without an issue even added an under seat sub woofer. About the only issues I have had is that if you use either usb or sd card for music It won't display what is playing on the Map screen, you can still control volume and skip songs but it won't display title info ( I guess it is because that is the android auto screen) I emailed Boss about it several times and had no response. So most of the time I just use the music app on my phone or I heart radio, It is sad because it makes usb and the sd slot almost useless for me. Biggest issue is it won't stay turned off, when you manually turn it off before shutting off car it always turns itself back on next start. and if you turn it off while engine is running it turns back on if you are trying to work with other un-related bluetooth devices with your phone eg. trying to access standalone dash cam kept overriding and turning on stereo.

The camera and radio are good
Nice good quality radio and I’m impressed with the back up camera and its image quality. The only thing I don’t like is that there is a delay for the camera to come on when you go into reverse.
