This would not work in the closet that I originally wanted it in as the side came to a v. My other closet was 8 foot 2 inches so I adjusted the marks on the wall to be an inch in on each side. That worked out fine. It did take a while to assemble and needs two people. I'm excited to use it in my new home as I had one in my previous apartment preinstalled.

The short, the closet is well worth the price. Installation is a pain but that is expected of a product like this. Very sturdy and stores a ton. One downfall but this is just on my own personal preference. There are only 4/5 different heights you can choose from for your shelving. I wanted my top shelf higher so we had to drill an additional hole to hold the frames in the main two stands. I took quite a leap with this closet having no idea what to expect. It fit nicely into the space I have and I definitely prefer this to a basic one rod closet any day. However there were a few cons. It is pretty much impossible to install this on your own. I had to have my brother take over the project from me and he still needed help holding and placing the pieces together. Secondlly, it does take a long time. I think our entire project took over 2 hours. The closet structure itself is very sturdy which is great when you have much to put away. The biggest factor that still annoys me all the time is the sections of hanging. They are not continuous but rather in small sections. If you look at the picture on the left side you'll see what I mean. It starts with a small section about 6 inches wide, than a much larger section and so one. So you can only fit so many hangers in each spot and forget about slides the items over one by one when you're looking for a shirt to wear. Wish this improved. Overall it fits the need but has room for improvement.

My closet was seriously overwhelming! Busting at the seams! This organizer was exactly what I needed! Super easy to install, and adjusted to fill my closet perfectly. I loved the fact that I can adjust the shelves to the height I needed. Now everything is perfectly Organized! I added some baskets to the middle shelves, as well as a few other things like a scarf hanger and tank top hangers (all purchased here on Amazon). My only complaint would be the area in which you hang your clothes. If your anything like me and have TONS of clothes, it's often difficult to move through them when they are packed in so tight. Each hanging area gives you about 6 " of horizontal bar space to hang before there is a vertical bar inbetween. Undertandably, because the hanging bar is so thin, these are needed to give it support so it does not bend.

Its just, okay... I wanted to love it more than I do. On the plus side, it is sturdy and attractive. On the bad side - it was very annoying to install. If you install to studs, you have to cut off the mounting brackets with a hacksaw (a power saw will shatter the brackets). If you position the double rod as directed, the top shelf is so high as to be useless under a standard 8' ceiling. I cut off some at the bottom to drop the overall height and refilled the posts to accommodate what I took off - in hindsight, I should have simply mounted the posts upside down which would have solved that problem with no extra hole drilling from me. The wire shelves are atrocious to fit into the brackets once you mount them to the wall - an almost Herculean task!! Its also annoying to realize that when you let the shelves dangle down, as instructed, they will pop out if the brackets have straddled a piece of the shelf bracing. Ugh!!! And putting the shelves into the brackets scrapes off the white coating. Will it rust?? I don't know. I suggest starting at the top and mounting ONE shelf at a time so they never dangle. The joint that holds the two halves of the support posts together should also be a bit longer in a perfect world. Just an overall sloppy design on this, but once it is mounted, yes it is functional. Note also that the hanging rod is not continuous - it is in approx 8" sections, but I think that's fine at this price point.

All the parts and pieces were there. Quick shipping. There is nothing to complain about. It is exactly as advertised. If you want a closet organizer with plenty of shelves and just like you see at a store like Home Depot, than this will work. It was a little bit of a project to put together, but not too difficult of a task. Just a bit time consuming. Overall a good product and just as expected.

Has laSted 6 months so far and still going. Super sturdy. Had my husband put this up when I was nesting for my soon to come baby. Needless to say when my husband was setting this up he drilled a hole through his hand it's definitely a pain in the bot to put it together my husband was wearing the whole time never mind when he put a hole through his hand. but it is extremely sturdy and definitely worth the tears

Instructions are horrible, we found it difficult to install based on instructions. Difficult to level shelves and outside frame gets in the way of storage. Bought the other Closetmaid system with the shelf track which was a breeze to install but it is more costly. Budget wise this unit is less expensive and we didn't have to cut shelves like a lot of reviewers. Just bought rubbermaid for another closet as it was less expensive than closetmaid shelftrack system and no shelf cutting required but haven't yet installed.

Quality is wonderful...loved it

Relativamente es fácil de colocar , tiene un sistema de sujeción a la pared práctico y una vez todo armado adquiere una sólida robustez, solo hay que tener cuidado de los postes que van de frente para que no se pongan al revés a mi me paso y si eso pasa se pierde el nivel de las repisas ya colocadas y hay que volver a tomar todos los niveles.

Good quality exactly what I expected nothing fancy. Might be my fault but we had a bit of an issue with a piece coming down from too much weight but I think that was my wardrobes fault. I downsized and haven’t had an issue since.

El instructivo anexo a este producto me pareció pésimo. Viene clasificado por temas en lugar de por pasos, las ilustraciones no son buenas y en general me pareció muy confuso. El tamaño es demasiado grande para los closets comunes de México y es muy difícil saber de antemano si la pared va a resistir las perforaciones o no (la mía no resistió y todo fue un desastre). Por lo que cuesta, la frustración y el trabajo, creo que me hubiera convenido más mandar a hacer un closet de madera.
