I really like these for eggs, and use them every day. These are not as heavy as others I have used, and that hasn’t been a bad thing. They heat up fast and cook my eggs noticeably faster than I’m used to. I use butter and have the eggs sliding out. I don’t expect these pans to last a super long time. All ceramic pans loose their non-stick in less than a year. I don’t mind replacing these as the price is great. I have purchased much heavier and more expensive versions of these GreenPan 9” pans like the ones Cooks Illustrated was recommending. Don’t waste your money. These are great!

An Amazing Surprise! – Sleek, Healthy, and Truly Nonstick I am absolutely delighted with this 8-inch GreenPan Rio. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be this good, but it completely surprised me! Here is why I love it: — Superior Quality: Besides looking very sleek and elegant, it is incredibly resistant. The ceramic coating feels substantial and durable, not thin and cheap like other brands I've seen. — Flawless Performance: It is highly practical and functional. You only need a tiny drop of oil, and absolutely nothing sticks to it. — Healthier Cooking: Knowing that ceramic is a much healthier alternative to traditional Teflon pans gives me great peace of mind. I am genuinely happy with my little frying pan (my "sartencillo"). It has exceeded my expectations and is worth every penny!

Love this pan. Nothing sticks to it. I use a little bit of olive oil and then my food. Easy clean up also. I highly recommend this for the money as well.

I love this pan so much! I've had issues in the past with small 8" pans having handles that are too heavy, which make them tip over very easily. Not with this pan! The pan has some heft to it, so it will stay where it's supposed to. The non-stick is superb! Best thing about this pan though?? There are no rivets on the inside of the pan! It makes it so much better to cook with and clean, thanks to a completely smooth interior. Since this is a small pan, it's hard to really judge heat distribution, but I'm going to take a chance and pick up some of the other larger sizes. The pricing on all the Rio pans is excellent. I also love the Turquoise color. I will definitely be buying the rest of the Rio set! (Full disclosure: I won't ever use the spatula as I hate cooking utensils that aren't entirely coated in silicone and instead are in two pieces. They didn't have the Turquoise color without the spatula in stock.)

My favorite pans, now discontinued. If you like this version, stock up, as the new and improved version just seems clunkier. These older pans, my favorite, are the perfect combination of nonstick and lightweight. Note, they only last a year or so before losing their nonstick-ness, which is true of all ceramic nonstick pans. When that happens, reach into your stash and get out a new one.

This frying pan is one of the best. I must get another one in a little bigger size I think, but this is a frying pan that I will buy again. I bought this frying pan because I had one for like 15 years little bit less and the coding just pooped out on me. Where is this? One is very very durable. It heats perfectly the handles nice and thick and it’s the best value for your money. it’s also very very easy to use so for the small amount of money I paid for this. I would recommend this to anybody. This is the best frying pan you can get never mind those Teflon or those copper bottoms those are awful. I have two of those and I’ve thrown them away. They’re not worth the aggravation. There’s no aggravation with this one. It eats beautifully and your food taste so good.

This is the perfect size to cook small quantities. It would have been better if it has been offered with a lid, which would have made it more useful. It cooks and cleans up as advertised.

This pan is great. The color the matching spatula and mostly the all around quality is amazing. It’s very well made and cooking with it is pure joy!!!

Me encanto y llego super bien empacado y a tiempo Tengo q actualizar esta información. Llego super bien y a tiempo. El sartenazo muy bonito. Pero después de varios meses de usarlo puedo decir q no es tan bueno para huevo (para eso lo pedí porque decía q no se pegaba nada) la vdd es q si se pega y tuve q comprar otro para el huevo estrellado. Para otras comidas me funciona perfecto.

Love this! Best lil frypan I've come across. We use it for our eggs every morning, cooks them beautifully and there's no sticking or mess left in the pan. Very happy!

I bought this pan because I wanted a non-toxic, PFAS-free option for cooking eggs and pancakes for my kids. I followed all the care instructions: washed it before first use, lightly oiled it, only used low to medium heat, and never overheated it. For the first month or two, it performed exactly as advertised and the non-stick coating was excellent. However, over time the cooking surface started to change colour, and now eggs and pancakes stick on it, even though I still use it in the same careful way. I’m a little disappointed because I expected it to last longer with such light use. I still appreciate the healthier materials and chose this brand for that reason, but I’ll unfortunately have to start looking for a replacement.
