It's a good exercise machine, good instructions on putting pieces together. It's better to use your own rachet it will be quicker to put eliptical together. However the package comes with tools. You want to grease up all moving parts to make the eliptical function smooth. Real quite if you do so....Stride length is a little shorter than I thought..but it's ok I am very please with this eliptical....

It's a small version of the elliptical machine you typically see at the gym. It's a good size for home use as it doesn't take as much space. It was a pain in the rear to put together and while the instructions were MOSTLY written well, I did find some errors in the labeling on the parts, though it doesn't take a genius to figure out what is what. I really appreciate that they separated the screws by step number in the guide, to prevent more confusion because there were just so many different type of screws. So I would say it's simple but you have to follow the guide. It took a very long time to assemble - 3 people about 100 minutes or so. Still it's worth it having your own machine at home to use! It has a resistance wheel in the center. Putting it a strong resistance definitely was definitely a strong tiring workout. The computer sits at the center and is helpful for tracking the activity metrics. The handles also come with a sensor for reading your BPM so that's pretty cool like the gym machines.
