The chicks loved having a place to roost in the brooder. Quick and easy to assemble. Was also easy to clean. Worth the $

It’s perfect. They are now almost chicken size and it’s holding up.

We got this perch to help our new chicks to start to learn to roost. Chicks got the hang around 5-6 weeks. But then, the birds will start to poop on it. Being wood, its not as easy to clean as other chick perches. If you dont mind cleaning wood, this perch is great!

I have 10 chicks who are almost 5 weeks old and they are all constantly up and down.

Easy to put together. Helped the chicks learn to balance. They also used it to gain access to the upper level as they grew. Isn't easy to clean, though. Takes some scrubbing under hot water for a while. Even after a soak in Epsom salts.

Small enough for the very tiny chicks. They roost on it all the time. Sturdy and easy to assemble.

The baby chicks love this roost! They have been practicing jumping up to the highest bar and roosting. They also like running around under it through the holes on each side.

This was a great product, but I could only give it a 4 star because there is no finish, it is raw wood. Being something for chicks that poo all over everything, it would be much easier to sanitize with a clear sealant on it. Also bare wood tends to dry and split. I'll have to finish it myself. On the plus side it's ready to paint if you want to personalize it. But for only $10 I can't complain too much.
