I purchased this deodorant in another scent as well an am extremely satisfied with both. I’ve been looking for a safe, gentle deodorant option for my child, and this one is exactly what I hoped for. It’s aluminum-free and phthalate-free, which gives me peace of mind knowing there are no harsh chemicals. The scent is light and pleasing—not overpowering at all, just a fresh clean smell that works perfectly for kids. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave a sticky residue, and lasts through school days and playtime. I’ve been trying to switch over to healthier deodorants; it’s been…a process. There’s always going to be trade offs when you go aluminum-free, but if know that going in, then this is a very good option. Although it’s advertised for kids, I use it as an adult. I apply twice a day on low-pressure days. When I’m going to the gym, or it’s hot out, I go back to the stronger stuff. But for regular days, this is great. Anecdotal, I find my body takes some time adjusting to healthier deodorants. I’d almost liken it to a reverse-tolerance. The longer I use it, the better it works for me. It’s happened with other brands, and this one as well. I’m taking off one star for the scent. I don’t hate it, but it’s a little too floral for me. I know that’s a silly thing to say since it’s advertised as rose, but it’s a little too floral, if that makes sense. I’m not sure if younger people would like it, or if they might think it’s a bit oldfashioned. My star ratings explained: 5 stars = Exceptional. I recommend to friends. 4 stars = Exceeded expectations. 3 stars = Met expectations. Satisfied with purchase but not overwhelmed. 2 stars = Failed to meet expectations but usable. 1 star = Avoid.

This is the best kids deodorant ever. My pubescent teenager smells amazing now. Lasts all day. Application is super easy, kid friendly scent, amazing value for the money. I can’t say enough good things about it

UPDATE: changed review to 1 star. Had set this aside to use on a trip, thinking that the solid stick would be suitcase friendly, and the floral scent would be nice for travel. It was stored in my closet, and the sticker said it was fresh through February 2026, but as soon as I picked it up to pack it I noticed a slimy residue on the outside. Wiped it off, opened the cap to to see what had happened, and the stick had become a soft gooey mess. It is just a blob of soft goo. Totally unusable. What a waste! Had this less then 2 months. My home is usually 68-70F as it is still heating season here - so not like it melted from the heat. Horrible product. Do NOT recommend at all. Was a bit nervous that this would reek and smell perfumey. Pleasantly surprised that Fresh Kidz Deodorant Stick for Kids and Teens, though strong, it does smell like a nice bouquet of flowers. Like the ingredients, and seems to provide protection. Stick is white, seems to go on clear. Will be interesting to see if it keeps up on hot summers days, but for now it does a good job. Pricier then a commercial brand, but worth it if you'd rather not have talc and aluminum on your skin.

The previous formulation was the roll-on variety so I was hoping the solid stick would give us better coverage. Put on a freshly showered teen overnight, and this morning we have BO :( I think our genetic code requires a formula with baking soda sadly. Our go-to deodorant is Humble and we find that we can go well over 24-hours. Really bummed this didn't work for our teen.
