Happy with this product
For someone who needs a mass gainer to help hit that calorie intake but either cant have or decides to stay away from whey/dairy, this is a great product. I cant have dairy and have trouble with my calories. While there are very few mass gainers in the vegan profile compared to its whey counterpart, I think Iron Vegan does a great job with this product. So you're not stuck with some garbage due to limited choices. I switched from from Mass XXX to this.190g per serving with over 700 calories of well balanced macros, pretty damn good for a vegan powder!! Right on par with alot of the non vegan mixes actually.I have vanilla, the taste is sweet but not too much. I've found mixing it with 8oz of almond milk and 10oz of water is the best choice for thickness and flavor. It comes to just about 24oz of liquid. Which is alot but again it's over 700 cals, that's a normal amount. It's a bit more clumpy/sticky than others, so it needs to be shaken more. Texture is a bit gritty but it's a mass gainer, you dont even realize it after 2 uses. To the one guy who said it tasted like sand, hes being dramatic.Overall I'm happy with this gainer, I'll continue to use it. Next step, ditch this coronavirus quarantine and wait for the gyms to open!!Ps: my only request, get that price down a bit before Huel steals your customers.

An amazing vegan alternative !
I love this stuff. First let me say I have a really really sensitive stomach. If I even look at some foods wrong I get diarrhea. So I was worried about this because of some of the reviews but it’s fine, no issues whatsoever. I read someone said it is like sand, not sure about that I thought it was actually pretty smooth. So it tastes nothing like vanilla like not even a hint of it. It tastes more like green tea ice cream I would say. Also it should be noted I only take half the serving. It’s still 21 grams of protein. The full serving requires a ton of water and I think it’s just a little to much. But overall I’m really happy with the ingredients and taste!

Best vegan gainer I have found
I have now purchased 2 bags of the chocolate flavor. I want to address a few things that I see in the reviews that may influence whether to buy or not. This is the best gainer I've yet to come across, I really want to like it as all the other options out there are crap. Seems like the cleanest ingredients / no sugar.Flavor - I'm not sure who drinks protein shakes for the flavor, but I've yet to have a delicious/healthy protein powder. This tastes pretty good considering its a vegan gainer. I blend with almond milk, banana, peanut butter and frozen blueberries, and the taste is pretty good. My only critique is that it has a stevia aftertaste, which I wish they had an unsweetened option.Serving size - the serving portions are huge - yes. This however is a gainer protein powder, every gainer Ive ever come across has the same huge servings. It is what it is. You can split it in two, i find that it is fine to do it in one shake at once. Surprisingly it hasnt given me any stomach issues or felt extremely heavy despite the portion size. I can drink a shake and eat a normal meal shortly after no problem. My only downside is that after going through 2 full bags I havent really seend significant weight gain. I have been taking everyday and working out.

It tastes like vomit.
I am a amazon addict bc it is convenient, receiving things weekly at least. I have written like one review in 10 years. I was moved to write this bc it is valuable, I think. I hope to save you the money. The quality is very good, the value might even be OK, except it will make you gag almost to drink it. And, I mixed it with a scoop of almond butter and some whole milk yogurt. Seems that would go with 'Vanilla', no? It did not matter. It was still BAD. And, it is huge drink, with 8+ounces of product plus 20 ounces of liquid. Besides the terrible taste that I could not do, the packaging is misleading. I mean yes, I have some responsibility bc I did not do all the calculations. I only read the BIG print, like most people I think. I was looking for a high calorie, vegan protein powder and I saw, "720 Calories/42 Grams of Protein/1Gram of Sugar/Per Serving. WOW, I thought. Perfect! Just what I was hoping for. Well, if you have done other protein powders you have an idea what a 'scoop' or serving means, or should. I have used 6 or more protein powders previously. In fairness they were whey based products. This was my 1st Vegan powder. If that is true for you... BEWARE! Not only was it not palatable to me, the scoop is H U G E. Like 4+ 0unces. Oh, and a serving is not one, but TWO scoops. More than 8 ounces of product. I mean, who is doing the metric to SAE conversion to figure that out before buying? Really! Not to mention, I had gas and burps like never before. I was in pain and it was horrible for more than 6 hours. I suggest you save your money. At $90 per 4.5LB bag it is not cheap. $180 wasted.

Great product, strange taste.
I like- How this stuff makes me feel. Lots of sustained energy. Really awesome ingredients that you’re not likely to have raw and use in shakes, etc.I dislike- The taste. But I understand. The chocolate is good, but the “earth & sea greens” taste is strong!! It’s because there’s a ton of good stuff in it... but still hard to handle. Also, this stuff is THICK!!! I haven’t drank one shake yet without large unmixed chunks throughout. I use a Blender Bottle and I’ve never had issues with other shakes. It’s hard to chug, even watered down extra. Soooo thick and burgery.I guess I’m comparing this to Naked Nutrition Naked Mass. Naked Mass hurts my stomach a lot less, mixes up really nice, tastes great or comes unflavored, and has more calories which is good to me. (Hard gainer) I will say though, Iron Vegan just has So many good things in it. It really is quality and makes you feel good. I just prefer Naked Mass. I’m a 32 yo dude 175 lbs that lifts 5-6 times a week, just for reference.
