Yes, they changed the recipe but ... Word of advice; use the original recipe. The contents in the packet IS EXACTLY THE SAME as it was before. Just the recipe on the back of the packet changed. Original recipe; Use 1 Cup Milk/Half&Half/Cream and 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil. Wisk together. Cook as normal. For some reason, Knorr changed the recipe on the back of the packet a while ago. Probably to cut back on fat content and to make it easier to work with... Please just follow the original recipe. I swear, with my creamy pesto loving heart, it's the same.

Update: I used the old directions with the new packaging and it tastes like the creamy pesto I love! Use 1 cup milk and 1/4 cup olive oil for the original recipe. I bought these hoping they were the old recipe I loved so much based on the product photo and description. It's the new recipe which is not that good! It looks like the ingredients are the same so next time I make this, I'm going to try to use the original recipe which uses olive oil instead of butter and hope it's the same. They need to update their listing because I wouldn't have bought these had I known it was the new one.
