Just received this StrongTec walnut bamboo easel. It looks really great. The work surface is smooth, has a nice sealer on it and is thick and strong. I did not notice any odor from the sealer. There are no cracks or rough surfaces. It is a good size 16 x 12. With 6 adjustments it offers a little extra as most easels I looked at have 5 angle adjustments. Some have mentioned that the removable rest lets paper slip through or the rest falls off. That can be remedied easily with a little wood glue to permanently attach or add a small strip of caulk or duck tape on the back of the rest between the two pegs. I would definitely buy this again!

Love this desk! I really liked that it adjusts. Currently I work with the lowest adjust point and I no longer have back issues as I did before. I like that I can use my c!ip on light to light my project since the desk top is thinner than most. The top is very tough though and quality made. This is big enough to hold my light pad as well as some tools on the side of my pad. I use this mostly for diamond painting,but am anxious to use for my laptop.

I like this product! It does its main purpose - holding the art you're working on. However, I am slightly disappointed at the features advertised. It shows that it can hold colored pencils or pencils for you in the holes. The holes seem to be a bit small and I couldn't fit them in like the advertisement shows. I reached out to the seller in hopes that they have a solution for this. Aside from that, the table is sturdy and seems to be made with Quality. It also folds too. Overall I like it!

This desk top easel is exactly what I needed for drawing in my sketchbook. I use this two ways: 1. When drawing from a reference image (or textbook), I'll place the textbook on the easel and my sketchbook in front of it so I can easily view the reference material. When it's time for line art and color, I place the sketchbook on the easel and can adjust the height as I go depending on whether I'm doing color, shading, line art, etc. I like that this is made for drawing/art with the nooks and crannies that come built in. Because I have a hardbound sketchbook, I can place the sketchbook on the easel, then place my phone horizontally on top of the sketchbook and draw from a reference image on my phone. There's room for several pencils and line pens in the holders. It's attractive, sturdy, gives multiple height options of the easel angle for whatever medium you're working with. It also folds completely down so it can be tucked under a couch or coffee table easily when not in use. The handle makes it portable. Best of all, it comes 99% assembled. You only have to pop in the ledge that holds your book/paper. This is a great option for any artist. It's also fantastic for poring over a large book. While I mention it's the perfect size for my small 8.3 x 8.3 sketchbook, that's when it's completely open. I can also place large/heavy college textbook sized books (and cookbooks) on this no problem. Great product.

I really like the drawing easel; however, it arrived cracked across the center. I received the product on December 16 but didn’t open it until January 1 because it was a Kwanzaa gift for my child. Since it was stored away until then, I didn’t realize there was an issue until my child opened it. Unfortunately, the return window had already closed, so I was unable to exchange it for a replacement. Overall, it’s a nice product, but the damage and inability to return it were disappointing. The crack across the center also makes the board uneven, which makes drawing difficult.

It seems well built. Lightweight and portable. Folds nicely. Ugly brown color. Adjustability is very good. Would buy again (in a different color).

Good quality. Would have prefered a phone slot in it, but had to compromise on cost and other options. It does slide off of your lap easily so i will have to get something to stick on the bottom to prevent sliding off of my lap when drawing.
