Daiwa EXELT2500D-XH EXCELER LT Spinning Reel, 5BB + 1, 6.2 : 1

I recently purchased the Daiwa EXELT2500D-XH EXCELER LT Spinning Reel, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. This reel is lightweight yet sturdy, making it easy to handle during long fishing trips without causing fatigue. The 5BB + 1 bearing system ensures smooth operation, and I can feel the difference when reeling in fish – it's fast and responsive with the 6.2:1 gear ratio. The build quality is excellent, and it feels very durable. The LT (Light & Tough) design really lives up to the name – it's lighter than many other reels in its class without sacrificing strength or stability. I’ve used it in both freshwater and saltwater conditions, and it’s held up well, showing no signs of wear or corrosion so far. Another great feature is the smooth drag system, which provides excellent control when fighting fish. Love it! Much better quality than my cheap Abu Garcia reel. Nice and smooth and less tangling on cast. Great price for the quality. Good size and spinning performance.

This little guy is smooth, cast very well and the drag is smooth and strong in tough fights. Paired with a 6-1/2ft. Eagle claw Ultra light rod, catching 13-15" crappie and bass no problem.

Incredibly smooth. Drag is like butter and loud. Seems sturdy and looks great. I’d definitely recommend to a person who is looking for a quality higher end budget reel.

This reel is very good light weight no problem pulling in 4 pound Bass I got the 2500 but will definitely look into getting bigger sizes.

You will not find a nicer reel for the price. The quality is top notch. Light as a feather, strong stem, and great sounding drag. Reel is buttery smooth. with minimal effort to turn the handle. It's hard to believe that they can make a reel this nice for the money. It feels like a 400 dollar reel.
