Has anyone used this on a vertical surface like a window? The “no drip medium” recommended by the manufacturer for this doesn’t seem to exist any more

I have worked with Pebeo Vitrail glass paints for a while now but only to decorate mirrors held horizontally until the paint has dried. Although I have no direct experience of working with these paints on a vertical surface, I would offer the following comments:
1. The paints do vary in consistency from quite viscous to almost watery (the white for example is extremely runny). The more viscous the consistency, the more obvious the brushmarks.
2. The temperature of the surface you are painting makes a big difference. If the window has become heated by the sun the paint will become sticky on contact and won't flow easily. Similarly, even if you can apply the paint when the glass is cold and has set, subsequent heating of the window in strong sunlight will cause the paint to "melt" a little. I found this when I painted a decorative border on a mirror and decided to take it outside to photograph it. It was a hot sunny day and after 20 minutes of being in the heat, the mirror became quite hot. When I picked the mirror up the paint had become sticky and the finish I wanted was ruined by fingermarks. 
I am talking about fairly large areas of colour here which may not be what you're intending, but as you can see from the above, I'm not sure I could recommend these paints for windows. Good luck though.
