I ordered this to sit under our shoe / boot rack. It works phenomenally well. It soaks up most of the liquid without it pouring on the ground below. It’s been washed and dried multiple times with no tearing, fading, or pilling in the fabric. This mat seems to be made incredibly well and has held up with water, mud, dog pee, two dogs and my five year old. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something to go under a shoe rack, a food or water dish for animals, or a mat that doesn’t slide.

It's heavy enough my three large Maine Coons haven't managed to nudge it off the table. It lays flat and is very easy to clean with a cloth, or at the sink. Happy to have found this

I'm really happy with this mat--it works great under my dog's food and water dishes! It's just absorbent enough that I don't have water trails and splashes everywhere anymore, but not so absorbent that it turns into a spongy mess. It's also big enough that all the errant food pieces stay on it, even when my Boston eats *really* enthusiastically!My only complaint is that I didn't get the print that I ordered, which is a bummer. But the mat itself works fantastically!
